I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and take the time to understand each dog’s and cat’s routine, personality and individual needs. I’m always happy to send regular photo updates, as I know how lovely it is to see your pet enjoying their time and being cared for while you’re away.

I’d love to hear all about your pet’s personality, energy levels, favourite games, treats and toys, any funny quirks or habits, likes and dislikes, fears, training, routines, and anything else you think I should know. The more you can tell me, the better I can tailor my care to help your pet feel happy, comfortable and understood. We can chat through this during the meet & greet, although for more last-minute bookings I’m also happy to go with written instructions if that’s easier.
A typical day
A typical day for me involves lots of time outdoors and plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I love making dog walks fun and enriching by giving dogs the opportunity to sniff, explore and enjoy the environment - whether that’s off lead for dogs who have a reliable recall, or on a long lead for those who need a little more help. I also enjoy incorporating training games and activities for dogs who enjoy them.

Pet care experience
I grew up around my family's two german shepherds and my love for dogs grew from there. This intelligent, lovely yet sometimes challenging breed taught me a lot about dogs. I have been looking after dogs and cats and working through Rover for 3 years now and have experience with all kinds of breeds, personalities and ages. As I am very interested in dog psychology and behaviour I am currently studying level 3 course in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare. If your dog has any behaviour issues I am willing to learn about their challenges to support them during their stay. I have experience in dog training with both my family's dogs and some of my client's dogs, therefore if there is anything you'd like to work on with your dog we can chat about it. If there are any current training goals you're already working on I am happy to learn about them and to continue the training while I’m looking after your dog. I stand for ethical, reward-based and force-free training methods.

Loreta is very patient and calm with Sadie, our very energetic Sprocker/Saluki, who absolutely adores her walks with Loreta!
Communication was amazing throughout and Loreta was very thoughtful about the hot conditions, amending what was possible given the heat. I would have no hesitation in recommending Loreta and hopefully Kenny will see her again soon!
