Where is the option to select more than five stars?!?! My goodness gracious, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Lorenzo and Anna. As someone who’s always had a home full of dogs and even run my own doggie daycare/overnight boarding business, I’m delighted to say that leaving my two rescue pups with this family was - hands down - the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. While driving my Greek Shepherd (Skye) and Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie/Bassett Hound mix (Piper) home from their stay with Lorenzo and Anna, I thought about what made their stay so uniquely wonderful. It wasn’t any of the big important things you’d expect; rather, it was all the small things that you’d never expect. For starters, Lorenzo and Anna are two of the best people you’ll ever meet. You’ll notice that right out of the gate - they give off the best kind of vibes, which explains why my dogs loved them so much. Skye and Piper are both two year-old rescues exploding with potential - but they have issues: Skye is terrified of people she’s never met; humans treated her horrifically before I met her and she’s still recovering from the trauma that defined the first two years of her life. Little Piper, on the other hand, has separation anxiety and a loud bark that she uses way too often and inappropriately. So for good reason, I was quite nervous dropping them off at a stranger’s home - would Skye try to nip Lorenzo? Would Piper squeal existentially at the front door and try to escape? Would they muster super-dog strength and pull on their leashes like the world was ending? Would they regress from all of the rehabilitation and training I’ve invested in over the last six months? Well it turns out that none of that happened!! Somehow, Lorenzo made Skye feel safe and comfortable and Piper had the freaking time of her her life. I honestly don’t know how they did it!!! I am giddy with gratitude because knowing my pups were in good hands meant that I could focus on what I needed to do while out of town. I loved all of the photos, videos, and written updates on how they were doing - it was so obvious to me that my pups were this family’s first priority. The icing on the cake came during my drive home with both pups loaded in the car. While I drove, Piper passed out in the front seat and had twitchy puppy dreams THE WHOLE WAY HOME while Skye stayed awake with a silly happy smile frozen on her face. I’ve had to leave my dogs with various families and their behavior on the way home was a clear sign of having been well taken care of and loved while I was gone. Then I got home and discovered the sweeeeetest Polaroid pictures of Piper and Skye - best surprise ever, they’re already hanging proudly on my fridge. Never have I been so pleased, truly. Thank you, Lorenzo and Anna!!!!

We are extremely fortunate to have Lorenzo take care of our pupper! They are very very sweet and very caring, very prompt in communicating and sharing updates/photos and videos. They were assuring that it was ok when we got delayed due to weekend traffic. Lucky was well fed, groomed, and pampered throughout her boarding time. she came home very happy and clean. She had great time playing with their dog Comet. Lorenzo and his partner are so very good with dogs and we would love to send Lucky to their home in future too.
