Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m home every day with my baby and my two Basset Hounds, so I’m always present and able to give dogs plenty of attention and care. Most days, we go for walks together, and I make sure they have a consistent routine with feeding, playtime, and lots of affection.

In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment. I have a fenced garden with a secure gate (40” H × 27” panels), which is great for small and medium dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time. I don’t use crates, as I prefer pets to feel comfortable and free in a home setting. I also have two very friendly Basset Hounds who are used to being around other dogs, which helps visiting pets feel more relaxed and social. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure every dog feels safe and happy.

A typical day
I love keeping dogs happy and engaged! We go on daily walks, have supervised playtime in the yard, and enjoy lots of cuddles and attention. I also like to do light play activities based on each dog’s personality, like fetch, gentle games, or just relaxing together. My two friendly Basset Hounds also help provide social interaction for dogs who enjoy being around others

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Brazil, surrounded by animals and nature, and that’s where my love for dogs truly began. From a young age, I was always caring for and spending time with them, learning how to understand their needs and personalities. Today, I have two Basset Hounds of my own, and they are a big part of my life. Living with them has given me even more hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and the importance of patience and affection. Now that I live here in the U.S., I’m excited to offer my care and love for dogs through Rover. I treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Lorena has always taken so great care of Lilly, my 7 months old American cocker spaniel. Although Lilly is very active and energetic, Lorena has patience to take her for a safe walk, to play for a long time, and to also feed her on time. She is the most reliable person I trust with Lilly and to be in my house when I'm not there. It's a relief to know my pup has someone so caring and professional taking care of her when I'm not available. I 1000% recommend Lorena as dog sitter.
