I am pleased to provide this personal reference for Lorena Meza in support of her application to become a pet sitter on Rover. I have known Lorena for several years, and one of the qualities that has always stood out to me is her genuine love and compassion for dogs. She is incredibly attentive to detail, responsible, patient, and naturally caring with animals. Lorena grew up in a family where caring for dogs was a way of life. Her stepmother has dedicated many years to providing a temporary home for dogs that had been abandoned, abused, or were waiting to be adopted into loving families. Throughout that time, Lorena played an active role in caring for these dogs, ensuring they received the attention, affection, and care they deserved. I personally witnessed several occasions when elderly dogs, who were often overlooked because of their age, were welcomed into Lorena's home. Rather than allowing these dogs to spend their final years without a family, Lorena and her family chose to care for them, giving them a safe, loving, and comfortable home for as long as they needed. That level of compassion says a great deal about her character. I also know firsthand that Lorena and her family regularly looked after dogs belonging to neighbors in their community, providing reliable pet care whenever their owners needed assistance. Caring for dogs has never been just a hobby for Lorena it has always been a meaningful part of her daily life. Without hesitation, I can say that Lorena is trustworthy, empathetic, dependable, and exceptionally well suited to care for dogs. I am confident that any pet entrusted to her will receive the same level of love, patience, and attention that she has consistently shown throughout her life. I’ve known Lorena for a really long time—longer than I can even remember, to be honest. One thing I’ve always known for sure is how incredibly kind she is to every living creature. Pets bring out the best in her. I always remember her showering her dogs with love, care, and affection. She has truly loved every single one of them, and I’m 100% sure that if you leave your pet with her, it couldn’t be in better hands.
