Mark and I both enjoy the company of dogs and we have our own Miniature Schnauzer, Charro at our home to keep us company. That said, we also love to spend time with other people's dogs especially when it helps them out, because they are just a little too busy, or are traveling. As we both love dogs, we will share the responsibility of caring for your dog while you are away.

We are so incredibly grateful to Mark! I honestly don’t know how we would have managed our vacation without him. Mark house sat and took care of our girl for 7 days while we were away, and I was so nervous about leaving her. She is recovering from IVDD and isn’t walking yet, so she needs help with pretty much everything. Leaving her for a week was something I was really struggling with. From the moment we met Mark, he was so kind, patient, and willing to learn everything she needed. He stepped up without hesitation and took on her care as if she were his own. He learned how to safely carry her outside for potty breaks, support her during her walks, do her PROM exercises, and even learned her physiotherapy exercises. He also drove her to her physio appointments, which was such an enormous help. What I appreciated most was how caring and communicative he was. Mark kept us updated throughout the day and sent us videos and live updates so we could actually see how she was doing. Those videos meant so much to me. Every time I saw her looking comfortable and happy, I felt a little more relaxed and knew that she was okay. He never made her care feel like a burden. He was so patient with her and really took the time to understand her needs and her personality. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about her, and that gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Mark also took wonderful care of our home while house sitting, but honestly, what matters most to us is how incredibly well he cared for our girl. Leaving her was one of the hardest parts of going away, but Mark made it so much easier. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you, Mark, for stepping up when we needed someone we could truly trust. You went above and beyond, and we would 100% have you care for her again. We highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their pet like their own. ❤️🐾
we had total peace of mind knowing Reggie was home with mark. he sent some great shots and short videos of their hang out and it seemed like a great time. 10/10, would definitely rebook!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Mark & Lorena while we were away in the U.K. for 10 days! From the very beginning, it was clear that they were loving on Charlie as if he were their own pup, which gave me such peace of mind while we were so far away. They kept in frequent contact and sent us lots of wonderful videos and updates, so I could see in real time just how happy and comfortable Charlie was. It meant so much to know he wasn’t simply being looked after — he was getting plenty of love, attention and affection too. ❤️ Mark & Lorena are warm, attentive and reliable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to have Charlie stay with them again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog sitters who will truly treat your pup like family. Thank you both for making sure Charlie felt so happy and loved while we were away! 💛

Mark was was amazing with our dogs, Cooper and Zoey, during their 24-hour stay over our wedding weekend! He gave us endless updates, took them on tons of walks, and kept them incredibly happy. Having him watch our pups truly put our minds at ease. Highly recommend!
This was our first time using rover. We were looking for an option for our wedding to look after our pup. We were having a hard time finding a person that we felt confident in but the first time talking on the phone with mark he made us feel very at ease and confident to book with him. He came to the house and was right on time that we scheduled for and was very pleasant and friendly in our first meeting. He engaged with our dog Monroe very quickly and the two were well on their way. He made us feel very confident in our decision and we headed out for our weekend. He provided pictures and videos of them playing and cuddling all throughout the day, evening and next morning. He was great with communicating with us through the app the entire time. When we got home the house was exactly how we left it and our pup Monroe pleasantly tired. We are looking forward to our next booking in September. Would rate mark 5/5 stars and Monroe would rate 5/5 paws as well!

We always want the owners we work with to have complete peace of mind while they are away, and we work hard to make sure you know your pet(s) and/or your home are in good hands. As you can see from our reviews, we have been on Rover since 2017, and in addition to boarding, we now offer in-home house-sitting services for owners who want or need someone to keep an eye on both their home and their pets. Regardless of the reason you want a sitter or house-sitter, we’re eager to find out more about your situation and discuss with you whether or not we may be a great fit for the care you need.
