A Lifetime of Tail Wags
Dogs have been a beloved part of my life for many years. My home has welcomed ten wonderful rescue dogs, giving me extensive hands-on experience with many breeds, personalities, and ages. Our family has included Irish Setters, a St. Bernard and her pup (a St. Bernard/Shepherd mix), three Golden Retrievers, a Springer Spaniel, a Chocolate Lab named Java, and a Chow–Pit Bull mix. Each one was a cherished member of our family. Because I cared for my dogs throughout their lives, I have a great deal of experience with both energetic dogs and gentle seniors. Many of my dogs lived to very old ages and passed peacefully at home, and senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’m attentive to their comfort, routines, mobility changes, and medication needs. I also cared for two dogs with seizure disorders, which taught me the importance of calm observation and on-time medication. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and making sure each dog feels safe and well cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. When your dog is with me, they will be treated with the same kindness, patience, and loving attention that I gave my own.

Loren is one special lady. She and Clementine hit it off immediately which is a bit surprising as Clemmy can be shy. She just has that vibe dogs respond to. Loren kept Clemmy busy and her updates made me both smile and chuckle and made me know Clemmy was in good hands. Then, when my travel plans got all messed up and I could not pick up Clementine until 11 or so at night, Loren was so gracious about it. I have already made another reservation...Loren is definitely Clementine's home away from home. I recommend her fully to anyone looking for for a caring and loving person to take care of their fur baby. Loren is that special person.
Lauren kept me posted daily about how Shelby was doing including photos. I didn’t worry about my dog because I knew she was in good hands and could tell they had a mutual respect for each other.😍
This is our second time using Loren. She is great with updates and the pups come home happy and tired.
Loren made my first time using Rover a fantastic experience. Not only did she comfort my dog Coal for the 4th but she also gave me peace of mind throughout his stay. Loren has a passion and love for animals that shows and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. I HIGHLY recommend.
I was a bit nervous about leaving my dog for an extended time but Loren was wonderful. She made my dog feel comfortable and gave her lots of playtime and cuddles. She sent me daily updates and photos and I returned to a healthy, happy dog. I will definitely seek out Loren for any future dog care!
Loren was wonderful to work with and Baloo looked like he had so much fun in the daily updates! We will be utilizing Loren for pet sitting again in the future.

Schedule
I’m a retired widow and a bit of a homebody—home is truly my happy place. I love to cook, paint, and read. If I’m not in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe (and occasionally dropping a carrot or two), you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book and a pup beside me, or in my art studio with a paintbrush in hand and a dog at my feet. I start every morning with a walk around the neighborhood and would love to have your dog join me. Occasionally I’ll go to a movie or lunch with friends, and on Sundays I attend church—but otherwise I’m happily at home. Your dog will enjoy a safe, calm, cozy environment with plenty of companionship, attention, and a relaxed daily routine.

I provide a safe, clean, peaceful, and fun environment where your dog can feel completely at home. I live in the county, surrounded by beautiful, quiet, and peaceful surroundings. My large, fully fenced backyard is perfect for dogs to relax and play safely. The chain-link fence is buried one foot deep and features a snake guard all the way around the yard. Dogs love lounging on the patches of AstroTurf, playing with the tetherball, and splashing in the wading pool. Inside, my home is cozy, welcoming, and fully dog-proofed—a perfect spot for your pup to curl up and rest. Dogs have easy access outside through a large doggy door whenever they want. Since it’s just me at home most of the time, the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and serene, providing a truly peaceful retreat for your furry friend.
A typical day
I love morning walks. Doggy can experience new smells, other dogs, other people. It is generally a very good social hour. I also have toys at home - - tug-of-war, a splash pool, large hurdling ball, all sorts of toys. I live very close to a grassed dog park.
