Within my household dogs have free range of rooms and furniture as well as the backyard! I have a large dog door with a fenced in yard that is always open for your pet to enjoy! All pets must be on a flea/tick prevention. Heart worm prevention is preferred but not required, all pets in my household take monthly medications for each Preventative and we would like to keep unwelcome critters out of the house!
A typical day
I am currently living alone with the occasional visit of family members so it is a very low stimuli household usually kept pretty calm and relaxed. Both of my dogs are very playful if ur dog is more active! But will also lay down and nap all day, they are very flexible and good with all kinds of dogs. Most of the day we spend relaxing and playing with toys in the backyard or the dogs all go play with each other.

As a pet owner of two ESP dogs, I understand how important finding the best care is because our pets are family. I am a college student pursuing a Vet tech degree with training in various areas and pet care. I currently work at Augusta Valley Animal Hospital as a vet assistant My last job was at a boarding and daycare facility where I took care of multiple dogs, all sizes and breeds, forming relationships with each one! I have also taken grooming classes and worked on all types of dogs.

One of the aspects of Lorelai's profile that appreciated and which drew me to boarding with her is her vast experience with animals and also her training as a vet tech. Her home is wonderfully set up for boarding dogs - including a crate space for any pups who need a little time to calm down and a doggie door with a fenced in backyard that the dogs have access to. I felt good leaving my pup with her. We did have an incident arise between our dogs, but she handled it swiftly by communicating with me.
If we could do half-ratings, I'd go with 3.5 stars here. I hesitated to leave a review, because Wade was fine and seemed to be perfectly happy when he came home. However, the experience wasn't the greatest on my end. The sitter sent a message after 9 pm the night before the sit asking to change the drop off time from 11 am to 7 am, due to a work scheduling issue. When I wasn't able to do that, we moved it to 10 am. We never did meet Lorelei, either at drop off or pick up. Instead a friend was there, I'm not sure of his name. No one answered when we arrived at the scheduled pick up time, although we were able to reach the unnamed friend via a text number (different than Lorelai's) and get back to the house to pick him up later. Apparently they didn't hear the knock when we arrived at the scheduled time? I dropped Wade off with a bed, which we were told was destroyed by one of the other dogs present. It's not a big deal as we have others, but I would have expected a bit more communication about that. Overall, I'm not sure I'd book again, as the scheduling issues were quite stressful.
