My name is Lora Deanne....I go by Deanne. In addition to volunteering for the San Diego Zoo, I am involved with Animal Rescue in Mexico. We identfy pets in kill shelters then arrange fostering/vet visits/paperwork required to have them adopted and I transport them to U.S. I have also been a volunteer at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and am Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certified for Cats & Dogs. I have had many different fur babies throughout my lifetime. I have fostered pets and cared for horses. Every pet that I care for gets plenty of play and exercise. Any medications or medical needs will also be handled.

Lora is a great pet sitter. She is very reliable so you can count on her if there is any unexpected changes to plans (like canceled flights). Lora understands your pets and becomes their friend. Always nice to come home to happy pets.
I'm so glad I found Lora for my cats! She has a lifetime of experience with animals, plus she is professional and reliable, so I do not need to worry that she is showing up when I am away.
My dog has the best time with Lora! They walk, play and have cuddle time which he loves! She is so communicative and sends pics and videos. I feel so comfortable with Lora watching my dog which puts my mind at ease when I'm at work knowing he is getting exercise and having a great time. I would absolutely recommend Lora!
Lora Deanne house sat and cared for our two dogs and elderly cat while my family was out of the country for over a week on vacation. Deanne is a certified animal whisperer! She ensured all our precious animals were very well cared for. She is incredibly professional,communicative ,detail oriented and attentive. We came back from our trip to some very happy animals. I highly recommend her to care for any animals. She is the best!!!!
Lora is, by far, the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. And I’m no spring chicken! I’ve had one Maremma sheepdog, three yellow labs, one black lab, and more. She is (first of all) extremely professional; she’s always on time (without exception) and she communicates well and thoroughly about anything having to do with Allie (my big ol’ Maremma sheepdog). She is acutely aware of every dogs quirks and peculiarities and takes them into account in what she does while at our house. And on top of all that, she’s become a dear friend both to Allie and to me and my wife!
Can I give six stars? Deanne, aka Lora, is exceptional! She is very prompt and understands dog behavior. As a house sitter, she is very tidy.
