I LOVE animals and the outdoors🐶🐱
Growing up on a farm, my appreciation for the companionship that all sorts of animals can provide, began at a very young age. Everything from pet ducks, hatching and raising chickens, kittens, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and even budgies and cockatoos! You name it I’ve probably done it! I have lots of experience with caring for pregnant and labouring dogs as my family bred golden retrievers. This included puppy care and vet checkups. As we owned the stud and momma, I also have lots of experience caring for non spayed and neutered dogs. I have lots of experience watching multiple dogs at once. My record is 15! 12 of those were puppies ;) I grew up with not only golden retrievers. I also have lots of experience caring for Shi Tzu’s, Labradors, Beagles, Border Collies, Husky’s and Shelties. I have experience with anxious, aggressive, shy, excitable, playful, and loving animals. I love to explore the outdoors and if I could bring a pet companion with me it would make it that much more enjoyable!

I share my home with a very friendly cat who loves the company of other animals and will help keep visiting pets entertained when I’m not home. I also believe that regular daily exercise is essential to a pet’s well-being and do my best to ensure they get plenty of movement, play, and enrichment throughout the day.

Lora was incredibly warm right from the start, which meant a lot after my cat’s rough experience with a previous sitter. She focused on reassurance and stuck to every part of my spoiled cat’s routine, and honestly went above and beyond. She kept me updated with photos the whole time, and I came home to a spotless place and a super happy, relaxed cat. Highly recommend her
Lora M. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Lora went above and beyond making sure my kitties were taken care of. She was kind and professional. I would be happy to have her check in on them again.
Lora did a great job taking care of our house and pets! She was very flexible with our timing when we encountered some issues with our travel and was very responsive and clearly had experience with animals. We’d definitely love to have Lora watch them again!
Lora was amazing with our velcro dog! She was easy to communicate with, shared how everything was going (including cute photos), and intuitively knew how to relate to our dog’s temperament. Highly recommend!
Lora took awesome care of Po and we’ll definitely use her again :)

Schedule
I currently work full-time with Thursdays and Fridays off. I’m also hoping to get out for more early morning walks and adventures, so I’d be happy to accommodate early appointments. If you’re located in Kelowna, I may also be available for mid-day bathroom breaks, depending on your location and scheduling needs.
