Calm Care for Large Breed Dogs

Calm, structured, and dependable dog caregiver with a lifetime of hands on experience, especially with large and dominant breeds. I’ve been the primary caregiver for my own dogs throughout adulthood, including working directly with trainers to develop pack leadership and control with powerful breeds like a Boerboel. I provide a safe, consistent environment with a large fenced yard and a steady, attentive approach. While not a certified trainer, I confidently reinforce existing training and support basic obedience during care. I prefer focused, one dog (or same family) care to ensure attention, safety, and consistency.

Schedule

Your pet isn’t something I fit in, it’s something I structure around. My daily routine is built to support consistency, calm handling, and a controlled environment, which is especially important for larger or more dominant breeds. I intentionally limit volume and focus on one dog (or same family dogs) at a time so I can provide steady, attentive care without disruption.

Safety, trust & environment

This is not general pet sitting, it’s high trust, structured care for dogs that require confident handling and consistency. I specialize in working with larger, more powerful breeds where environment, tone, and leadership matter. Many dogs don’t need more stimulation; they need clarity, routine, and a calm presence. That’s what I provide. Ideal fit: Owners of large or dominant breeds who value control and consistency. Families who want their dog’s routine maintained, not disrupted. Clients who prefer a quiet, structured environment over high volume pet care settings. Core differentiator: A composed, leadership driven approach that keeps dogs balanced, safe, and aligned with their existing training, while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is in capable hands.

A typical day

I’m present throughout the day, making sure your dog feels settled, safe, and cared for, similar to how they would at home. I focus less on high stimulation and more on quality engagement. Dogs have access to a large fenced yard, structured interaction, and calm play. I also reinforce existing training, good manners, and basic obedience during the day, helping maintain alignment with what you’ve already established at home.

It helps to have clear understanding of your dog’s temperament, routines, and boundaries. It’s important to know how they respond to direction, their energy level, and any behavioral considerations. I’m best suited for dogs that are stable and benefit from a calm, structured environment rather than rehabilitation focused care.
