Paws With Pearl

I have been around animals since I was born and started taking care of them and tending to their needs when I was five. I lived at Camp Lejune for four years and for two of those years, I was relied on to tend to some of the house pets around base. I worked as mostly a dog sitter, but i have worked with cats and even a ferret!

Safety, trust & environment

As i cannot take an animal into my own home, i will either do drop-ins or do an overnight stay. After meeting the animal, i would visit and if i’m doing a drop-in, i’d stay up to an hour (or more, if needed or requested) and help the animal get its energy out and eat! if i’m doing an overnight stay, i’d keep to a schedule that is discussed before or during the animal meet.

London was amazing!! She gave routine updates that were detailed and let us know that our pets were being extremely well cared for. She kept our pets on their normal routine and effortlessly adjusted to the many personalities each pet brings to the table. Our house was left exactly how we left it, if not better. We will definitely be using London in the future and recommending her to other pet parents!

London did a fantastic job caring for Millie while we were out of town. She is very communicative and timely in her responses. London’s flexibility to stay an additional day due to a canceled flight made the change of plans way less stressful. We knew Millie was in good hands with her, and would absolutely rebook in the future.

London dog sat for me for about a week and was super communicative and flexible. She went above and beyond to entertain my anxious dog and she also took really great care of my apartment!

London was such a great sitter for my two Aussies. They can be a lot and have quite different personalities. One is slightly reactive and the other can be super timid. It takes a bit of extra effort to befriend them. Both of them warmed up to her like they’ve known her their whole life. She kept us consistently updated while we were away and sent lots of pics. We felt confident that our dogs were being taken care of and entertained. We would definitely book with London again for walks or house sitting!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

As of right now, I am working with the ice cream company Alsies as a driver, though I am looking for a better & more stable schdule and hope to find that through Rover or different job. I usually am gone for about 5-8hrs, but as if an animal requires around the clock care, i will place them in front of Alsies as they're flexible right now as they have employeed too many people and not enough trucks.

Dogs over 1 year old
London can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
I’ve lived and work with older dogs mostly, but i also do have experience with grumpy and moody cats. If your animal requires medicine to be given to them, please discuss how I should give them! I would also like to know a round about peronality of your animal, just to better prepare myself on how to properly tend to them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
