Born Into a Dog Loving Home and Still Living It!

I was born into a dog loving home and have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs of all shapes and sizes - from West Highland Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers to Spaniels, Labradors, Dachshunds and Boerboels. My partner and I rescued our spaniel Maisie and raised Diesel, our Labrador, from a pup – both now 11 years old. I also regularly look after my parents’ two Staffies and spent years working for a friends dog walking business, including overnight stays at clients houses. My love for the outdoors makes walks enjoyable for both me and the dogs, and my home - along with Maisie and Diesel - always welcomes new furry friends with open paws.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 17, 2026

Lois and Bridget kept us updated throughout, great communication and Yuffie had a great time being with them. They gave her lots of cuddles and attention. Both of their dogs, Maisie and Diesel, were fun to be with. Yuffie enjoyed her stay thoroughly with them 😀

I highly recommend this lovely couple—they were absolutely wonderful. They have two gorgeous dogs of their own, and my spaniel, Sally, had such a great time with them. I was quite worried about leaving her at first, but they made both Sally and me feel so welcome right from the start. We arranged an initial meet at their home and went out for a walk together, and the dogs got on like a house on fire. While I was away for the week, Lois and her partner kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease. I couldn’t thank them enough for the care and attention they gave Sally.

A typical day

A typical day with includes daily walks around the local area, where dogs can enjoy plenty of new smells and meet other furry friends. I also focus on mental stimulation, using toys and fun games to keep dogs engaged as well as active. Each day is a good balance of exercise, enrichment, and relaxed time, tailored to suit every dog.
