Retired veterinarian technician.
I bred, showed and trained both Newfoundland dogs and Andalusian horses. Studied veterinarian technology at the College of Southern Idaho. Worked years as a technician until untimely death of veterinarian in Idaho. Retired to Washington to live near grown children. I have dealt with both large and small animals and some exotics. I can recognize early signs of disease someone else might miss. Live in downtown Kent. I can provide shots and any other medical requirements. Retired and looking to give love to your pet. I am in excellent health and happy to take your pet for a walk or even a run. Experience with almost every breed of dog and cat, goat, pig, horse, mule, parrots. You name it I've worked with it.

I only do pet sitting at the clients home. I believe your pet is much more comfortable being in their known surroundings, around familiar things and of course the smell of their owners.

Lois is simply the best! Both her prior veterinary experience and her thoughtfulness can’t be beat. She was patient and attentive with our blind, senior dog with a tendency for mild separation anxiety through the firework-heavy holiday weekend. She made time for a meet and greet and followed our instructions to a T. She also went above and beyond with a few chores before she left. Thank you, Lois!!
Lois did a fabulous job taking care of my Oscar! She provided updates on how he was doing and sent pictures too. I came home to a clean house and a happy dog. Thanks
Lois is wonderful! We felt so at ease knowing our dog was taken care of. She was very communicative, respected our space and most importantly our dog was so happy.
Lois is really wonderful! We have had her sit our 2 dogs and 1 cat twice now, and each time she has been a great houseguest and a great pet sitter. She was timely and very friendly and our house was spotless when she left! Our dogs (and cat) took an instant liking to her and she sent me daily updates and photos of their antics. All of my animals have a lot of personality, I have an energetic younger dog and a senior who is deaf and has some health issues. I have been especially worried about leaving my senior dog, but I feel comfortable leaving him with Lois. I can tell she genuinely cares about him, and knowing that she was previously a vet tech really helps cement that I have left him in good hands. I would absolutely book with her a 3rd time (and more!) and would gladly recommend her to friends and family.
Lois was able to do a short notice pet sitting for us. It was great to be able to go away quickly. Dogs love Lois and they are happy to see her. Everything always looks great when we get home.
This was a first time pet sitting with Lois and it all went wonderfully, minus a library book that didn’t fair well with our beagle. Lois took her time with our more skittish little guy so he could warm up at his pace and she won him over. The other two are instant love bugs so enjoyed time with Lois instantly. We will definitely have Lois pet sit again in the future.

Schedule
I am retired but do volunteer work with animals. My schedule is pretty open. I enjoy meeting new pets in their environment. I like going to different areas.
