Pet care experience

Proud dog mom and student 🐾

I've been a proud dog mom for 7 years and taking care of animals before I could even walk. I grew up on a farm raising livestock and have been around animals my entire life. When I graduated high school, I started training dogs and working as a veterinary technician full-time. I am now getting my Bachelors in Biology, but I would still consider myself a full-time pet lover. With me, your pets will be treated like family, because that's what my pets mean to me! I am well equipped to deal with animals with behavioral concerns, medical conditions, or special needs. I can administer medications and will ensure that the health and safety of your family member is always put first. I am certified and experienced in delivering basic life support and CPR for both cats and dogs.

Boarding • Dec 22, 2025

Logan helped me with last min accommodations while I was on a cross country road trip. I had to change drop off and pick up times while traveling and Logan was so flexible and understanding. She has 2 very fun dogs of her own that welcomed my pup right away. I am so thankful for Logan’s help and for loving my pup like her own!

I had the privilege of being Logan's co-worker while she was still a veterinary technician. Logan was always committed to high-quality care of her patients. She was always our clinic's go-to for anxious dogs or "spicy" cats because she has a special ability to put almost any animal she meets at ease. She goes above and beyond for the people around her, so much so she even used to offer old clients free boarding for pets who felt uncomfortable or experienced high anxiety in our clinics boarding kennels. Logan cares deeply about the health and wellness of her animals, and that extends beyond her own dog to those she takes care of.

I have never met someone who loves her pets and the pets she takes care of more than Logan. I cannot recommend her enough. She answered my questions, communicated frequently, and always put my dog's comfort and safety first. We've had a few bad sitter experiences in the past, and Logan put us at ease when we had to travel for a family vacation. She will always be our first choice when we need to book for boarding in the future. You can expect your dog to come home happy and well taken care of. We appreciate all she's done for our family!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

🐾 I am still a full-time student, but my schedule is fairly flexible. My days are built around my dogs needs--which I always but first. My own dog receives 3x walks a day, which typically includes two longer walks and a shorter mid-day walk. My drop-in visits and walks can be scheduled around this, or I can bring my own dog along for some socialization time if both dogs are comfortable with that. 🐈 Taking care of cats is much the same, sans the walks. I love quiet play time, or to meet the cat with whatever they need. I know some cats are shy, and I am always sensitive to this fact. I like to discuss a cats specific wants and needs with the owner prior and then make adjustments on my visit accordingly.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

🐕 I am an avid runner, so if it fits your dogs needs, I can also take them along on easy, low-impact runs for exercise. This is great not only for my own fitness, but also theirs! I am also keen to spend time walking along many of the great pathways around the greater Atlanta area. I am happy to accommodate taking dogs on walks outside of the neighborhood for a change of scenery. 🦴 Drop-in visits typically look like personalized play time and bonding time. This can include cuddle time, a short walk (complimentary/free of charge!), or specialized training time. I spent 2 years as a dog trainer, so we can work on simple skills to keep your pet engaged and stimulated throughout the day. 🐈 For cats, it's just as important they get the same amount of care and time for their specific needs. For drop-ins, I usually like to focus on play time and cuddle time, if that is suited to their needs. I've had my fair-share of indifferent/shy feline friends, so if a quick food top-off and water bowl change is what's needed, then that's what I aim for. If a cat is ever feeling uncomfortable, I ensure to never cross their boundaries or violate their personal space. 🏡 I am no longer accepting boarding or house-sitting requests. I may make special exceptions for regular clients, depending on the situation. 🐾 If your pet has specific needs or if you have personal requests for their care, do not hesitate to let me know. I want to make sure I am meeting their needs as best I can throughout service.

A typical day

🏔️ It's never a good adventure without a furry friend at your side! I enjoy taking my dog on adventures with me as often as possible, any time of the year. This includes hikes and outdoor excursions. If weather allows, I prefer to walk my dogs around local nature preserves rather than staying within suburban neighborhoods or on pavement. 🦴 We also like to do daily, mini training sessions to keep basic obedience skills sharp, and sometimes teach new tricks! Recently, my own dog is working on her "roll-over", which is quite a challenge considering she's deaf... It's definitely a work in progress. 💤 We also try to make time for an early-afternoon nap time, which gives everyone (including me) time to rest and relax.

‼️ ➡️ I require that all dogs and cats boarding with me are up-to-date on their vaccines. For dogs, this includes Rabies, Distemper (including the Distemper/Parvo combo vaccination), and Bordetella. For cats, this includes Rabies and the FeLV vaccine. I do not accept dogs that are heartworm positive or cats that are FeLV positive. I prefer that dogs be up-to-date on their heartworm preventative and have a negative heartworm test within the last year, but this is not required. If needed, I will ask for proof of these vaccinations and proof of preventative care. 🐾 For boarding your dog, I require that your dog in comfortable being around other dogs in the 40-60lb range. I currently cannot accommodate boarding for dogs who are not play-socialized or have a history of dog-reactive aggression. I CAN accommodate walking and drop-ins for these types of dogs, but it is always helpful to have a heads up prior to booking if that is the case. Please let me know in advance about your dogs play style (if known), any exercise restrictions, or medical conditions. I want to ensure I am giving the highest level of car to your pet, so if you have any questions or concerns for me, it is better to let me know sooner rather than later. I am an open book and I want to make sure your pet receives the best care possible when they are staying with me!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
