Please let me know if your Pup has PTSD or any trauma issues I should know about. If he is sick, please give additional instructions and leave a credit card on file with the Vet. Please let me know if your Pup is a loner, a pack animal, scared of dogs that are specific colors or sizes, socialized, thinks he is a person, uncomfortable with children wanting to pet him, impatient, in heat or basically an old man.
A typical day
Would love to stick to your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Morning walks & meds if necessary, breakfast with lots of morning loving. Then down time while I work, 2-3hrs later I’ll return for a quick walk/playtime around lunchtime then back to work for 2-3hrs then Dinner time for Pup then a walk after. Then couch time unless your Pup is scheduled differently. Lastly a quick outside pee before bed then sleep time. I’m ok with Pup on the bed :) My goal is to be the least disruptive as possible because I’m not the Pup-Parents. I talk to animals and usually they show me where their snacks are. Open to any instructions.

Logan was an absolute dream sitter for our dog, Jax! From the moment we first connected, she was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. She asked thoughtful questions ahead of time to make sure she knew all the details about Jax’s routines and preferences — which instantly made us feel confident leaving him in her care. Throughout the four days, she was super communicative, respectful of our home, and went out of her way to make sure Jax had the best time (including some epic walks!). We came home to a happy dog and a spotless house. We can’t recommend Logan enough and will absolutely be booking her again!
Logan is thoughtful, professional and just a delight to work with! I have extensive instructions for my babies and she followed them all well. My older dog doesn't trust new people quickly. Logan continued to try to engage and build that trust throughout her stay. She sent wonderful updates and communicated regularly. She tidied up after herself and was a great house guest. Highly recommend!
The major issue came when she left in the middle of the 2nd night (1:30 am). She was upset when some greenhouse millipedes came in under the downstairs door after a heavy rain. This was something that we had never previously experienced, especially since we have a regular pest control company come to the house monthly. She is very bug adverse evidently. The dogs had been walked at 8 PM in the evening and she didn't get back until 10am the next morning. The problem I have is that we never got a call about the situation, even though we are very clear about letting us know if any problems cropped up since we have a neighbor and a son who live very close and are available in emergencies. I didn't find out about it until I had looked at our cameras and saw what happened and also realized that after returning at at 10am she hadn't returned yet at 7pm. I texted her when I saw from the cameras that she hadn't returned yet at 7pm. She told me she had to go take care of some other dogs at somebody else's house. My cameras also showed her taking two large garbage bags out of the house into the garbage. I knew we had emptied them before we left. When I checked, I found they were full of paper towels she had used to clean up accidents. Logan is a very lovely young woman, and I hope she uses this review as a learning experience as she when she moves ahead with her pet sitting career. Communication is key. (Just a note. We always inform all the pet sitters that we have three cameras around the outside of the house and are very aware, when anyone comes and goes.)
We were so lucky to have Logan house sit for us! From the moment we left, we felt totally at ease knowing our home - and more importantly, our pets - were in such great hands. Logan went above and beyond loving on our cats and dogs, and she sent us the best pictures that made us feel connected and reassured while we were away. When we got home, the house was spotless - like we’d walked into a cozy, well-loved retreat. You could tell Logan treated our home and pets with true care and respect. Highly recommend Logan to anyone looking for a responsible, kind-hearted sitter who treats your pets like their own. Can’t wait to have her back next time!
