Pet care experience
Reliable experienced -home from home- DBS checked.
I live in the bury saint Edmunds, Suffolk area and I have been around family dogs since I was a boy and have owned and cared for my own dogs for over 40 years taking them from a puppy into their old age. I can offer a loving home from home dog care service with plenty of walks, and playtime in the garden . I genuinely only accept dogs from a single household at a time as I am not interested in taking on multiple pets just to make more money. Your dogs wellbeing is as important to me as my own dog and will never be left home alone or unsupervised . I am semi- retired very active and at home full time so am able to offer a good level of safe and secure care for all ages and breeds of dogs, my partner also loves dogs and as she mostly works from home she is around should I need a hand with anything like walking dogs separately. Having used boarding and day care myself with mixed success I fully understand how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new especially if they board severe dogs at the same time , but rest assured I am fully experienced and very capable of caring for and handling dogs. I have my own very placid and friendly pointer, who is always very happy to meet new friends and share countryside walks as I am very lucky to be surrounded by fields and country walks straight from my door amd have no need to drive the dogs anywhere. I do like to take the dogs to the forest where it is cooler on those very hot days, this is a ten minute drive in a safe vehicle fitted with a steel dog guard. Whilst in my care you will receive daily photo/ video updates so you can see your dog having fun and exercise and of course plenty of love and belly rubs. If you leave me a copy of your dogs normal routine I can follow it which will help me provide a true home from home experience for your dog to enjoy, please try to bring a favourite toy or treats along to help with your dog settle in and feel more at home. I can accommodate your dogs bed and also a crate if that is what they are used to. Ratings and reviews
Although Tilley enjoyed her days with Lloyd and Hudson, she was very restless at night, whining and barking. Lloyd did everything possible to make her comfortable and settled. He sent regular updates and I cannot thank him enough for looking after Tilley.

This was our second time boarding Rory with Lloyd, this time for a longer stay and again, had the best experience! Lloyd is so communicative and seeing photos of Rory while I was away was so comforting and I looked forward to them everyday. She got lots of exercise, time outside, and got along with Hudson seemingly so well. Again, a great experience, thank you Lloyd and Hudson!

Lloyd is a fantastic sitter who I would definitely recommend. Winnie settled really quickly despite this being her first rover and she got on really well with Lloyd’s dog, Hudson. Lloyd sent updates with photos whilst I was away which was really reassuring. And when I went to pick Winnie up, she wanted to stay which is an obvious sign that she had a great time!

Always a top notch time with Lloyd - 100% trustworthy and caring

Lloyd was most helpful with feedback and photos during Tilley's stay. Tilley and Lloyd's dog Hudson got on well, with a delightful photo of them asleep together despite their differences in size. Looking forward to Tilley staying again in August.

I'd give 10 stars if it were an option. I could not have been happier with Lloyd having my dog whilst we were on holiday for a week. Daily updates and photos showed my dog had settled well and I was over the moon to see her on such lovely walks and exploring new areas. Lloyd will definitely be my first choice for sitting again, happy dog.
