I've taken care of dogs and cats of all ages; 4 months to 12 years old. I previously worked in a vet clinic for 5 years before changing my career path. I pride myself in giving your pup or kitty my time and making them feel as comfortable as they can in my home or your home. If that means playing with them all throughout the day, cuddling on the couch, going on walks, going on hikes, or them just hanging out while I do things around the house. I want the animals that I watch to feel as if they are at home with their owners. It brings me joy seeing how comfortable and happy the pets I've watched become after just a few hours or a day in my care. I am able to pet sit in my home if your pup is okay with cats but am open to pet sitting in your home at times for pups or cats. I am open to pet sitting in your home if that works better but my preference is to bring them to my home. When staying at a clients house I like to get familiar with the yard and space so I know of any places your pet may hide away or rest. Some times our pets like to nap in places that we would not suspect and I want to make sure I can keep track of your pet at all times while in my care.

Lizzy was wonderful to meet and care for my pups, they are 15.5 and 16.5 years old and I was a bit worried because of their age, but Lizzy was great with them. I was completely relaxed knowing she was caring for them and appreciated the constant updates, walks, pictures and all the extras She was very dependable and positive. Would definitely rebook with Lizzy in the future.

Schedule
I'm currently working from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. So I will have time to play with and spend time your pup or kitty. I can work from your home as well, if I am pet sitting in your house.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for the pups I watch to run and get energy out. We have a security screen door so that they can also get fresh air while inside but cannot get out. I have made sure that we have secured our fence. I do crate pups when I am not home just to make sure that they are safe and do not have an opportunity to get into any mischief; crating would only be used while I am not home or at night time if needed.
Pets
A typical day
I love to run and play chase or fetch with your pet. I also enjoy hiking so if your pup likes to go outdoors and explore we can have some fun on a trail. I have enjoyed Auburn and Folsom for hikes and take the easy trails for dogs. For those pups that enjoy being at home I spend lots of my time playing with them so they aren't bored. My two sons enjoy playing with the pups I watch as well. So any pup that boards at our house will have plenty of people to play with or get attention and love from.
