I plan my day around my clients needs. I strive to be with them at all times during the stay, making sure they have fun and feel loved. I typically only accept one client at a time to make sure your pet receives the attention they deserve, with exceptions for multiple dog families. I honor routines and personal needs, while prioritizing fun, comfort and safety.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a pet-friendly apartment building downtown, in close proximity to multiple parks and walking trails. We have a fully fenced in, community garden area for dogs to sniff, run and play. When it’s hot, I love taking clients to the beach, lake, or neighbors pool for a swim to cool off. Although I’m located in a great area for daytime adventures, There are lots of sounds and smells in the city. If your pet gets overstimulated easily, I’d highly recommend a meet and greet in home to make sure it’s the best fit.

Information Lizzy B. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know a few things about your dog before meeting them: First and foremost, is your dog potty trained? Does your dog take any medication or have any illnesses I should be aware of? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog pull on walks? Do they tend to escape fences? Are they averse to loud noises or have experience in apartments? Anything else you want me to know. I am looking forward to getting to know your canine member of the family!

A typical day

I love making my canine clients stay as comfortable and fun as possible! Heading for a walk or playing fetch at a local park, taking hikes, going for a swim, or getting snuggles inside. Working remotely, I strive never to leave your pet alone during their stay.

Pet care experience

Growing up, I had a best four legged friend and volunteered at the humane society in my spare time. In college I worked at a dog day care center taking care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments. I’ve cared for dozens of friends, family and Rover clients dogs since then. Hanging out, playing and caring for doggos are one of my greatest joys! I plan my days around the wellbeing and personalities of my canine clients and love them like my own. Our days may be spent on long walks along the waterfront or green lake, playing fetch in discovery park, hiking a new trail, or relaxing in the grass / on the couch. At present, I work 100% remotely and therefore have the ability to provide dedicated time to your pet during their entirety of their stay. I provide one-on-one attention and usually only take one client at a time. I’ll always prioritize your pets personal needs, routines, and preferences. My goal is for all my four legged (and two-legged!) clients to leave happy, stress free and excited to return.

Lizzy was kind caring and very responsive. Ruger had the best time at his sleep over with a long walk and a surprise starfish sighting!

Berkeley had an awesome time with Lizzy while I was on holiday. After picking up Berkeley seem to be sad that she had to depart from Lizzy. I would recommend Lizzy for her services. Thank you for your flexibility and providing a 2nd home for Berkeley.

Lizzy helped us out when we were in a bind last week, and she provided daycare three days in a row for our 15-week-old puppy. Maya is naturally high in anxiety and doesn't take well to strangers, but she warmed up to Lizzy instantly and seemed to come home in high spirits every night. We will absolutely be using Lizzy for all of our puppy-related needs (doggy daycare, boarding for weekend trips, etc.) - she has been so accommodating, communicative, and flexible with scheduling, and we're so glad we met her through Rover!
