I have a pet camera for when I’m not home to check in on the babies, as well as live very close to a pet emergency clinic, and a best friend who is a veterinarian, who is always willing to help out in case of an emergency!

A typical day
I understand that all dogs have a different level of energy that they are required to use up in a day! This means that I will do what I need to keep your dog enriched! I love to play fetch, go on walks, hike, play with their toys, or cuddle on the couch if that’s what they prefer! I love going to Zilker park and letting the dogs hang out with each other!

Pet care experience
On top of owning pets my entire life, I was a zookeeper for three years up until I decided to make a switch to teaching wilderness survival skills to kids, which I do Monday through Friday! Caring for animals has been a passion ever since I was a child, and I have worked with exotic animals, birds, dogs, cats, livestock and horses. While zookeeping I specialized in creating bonds with my animals, and making sure that all of their needs were met. I also have two cats of my own, Draco and Luna, who are my babies! I love animals of all shapes and sizes and would love to work together, in order to care for your furry friends!

Lizzie was absolutely wonderful with my 50lb goldendoodle, Roxy! She boarded Roxy in her home for 10 days and took such thoughtful, loving care of her. Lizzie sent regular updates photos & videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond to make sure Roxy was comfortable during the NYE celebrations, knowing fireworks can be stressful. Honestly, Roxy seemed sad to come home - which says everything - haha! We would 100% book with Lizzie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive sitter.
Lizzie is awesome! She was super accommodating with my anxious aussie, followed all the instructions, sent me regular updates, and communicated well. He loved her energy and I could tell he was comfortable with her and had some kitty company. I would definitely book with Lizzie again.
Lizzie was excellent. Very communicative, very punctual, and very understanding of my pets’ personalities. She made a big effort in particular with my dog, who can be a little tricky at times. I’d highly recommend her
Lizzie is a great sitter! Excellent communication and had great rapport with my pups. She took them to Zilker and they followed her off leash!! Highly recommend 🐶✨
