I can't wait to have a dog of my own one day, but until then I'm excited to spend my spare time looking after yours! I grew up with both cats and dogs and love looking after my parents' Vizsla, who's wonderfully high-energy and very demanding. I'm confident handling dogs of all sizes, on and off lead, and I'm always happy to tailor walks, playtime and mental stimulation to whatever your dog or cat enjoys most. Just tell me their favourite games and routines! I live alone in a first-floor flat in a semi-rural location near Linlithgow, with immediate access to communal grounds, countryside paths and a short drive to Beecraigs County Park and the coastal routes around Blackness. Doggy walking and exercise will not be a problem! I'm equally very content to look after snooze buddies, and your cat or dog is welcome to make themselves completely at home here - sofa snuggles very much encouraged. I work from home two days per week and can offer flexible overnight boarding, dog walking, pick-ups/drop-offs and in-home pet sitting around West Lothian and Edinburgh. I can't wait to meet your furry friends!

I would highly recommend Lizzie. She was reliable, caring and followed all of Yoda’s care instructions perfectly. Most importantly, I could tell she genuinely spent time with him and made sure he was happy and settled while I was away. She kept me updated and sent me some lovely photos of Yoda outside sunning himself, relaxing on my bed and even watching her through the stairs! 🥰 I had forgotten to mention that Yoda can occasionally be sick because of his condition, but Lizzie simply let me know and cleaned everything up without any fuss, which was really reassuring. I came home to a very content Yoda and everything was lovely, neat and tidy. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was being so well cared for. I’ve already booked Lizzie again for October, which probably says it all! ❤️🐾
Lizzie did an amazing job! Lovely gal and our animals had the best time with her 😊 Our dog can be quite shy with new people, but she warmed right up to her and was very happy! Lots of lovely updates as well!
Lizzie was amazing with brandy, unfortunately we had lost one of our dogs and brandy was not coping well without her. Lizzie made sure she had all the human contact she needed and went above and beyond during brandys stay. I will definitely use Lizzie again in the future.
Lizzie was amazing with our 8-month-old pup! As first-time Rover users, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Lizzie completely exceeded our expectations. She took the time to make sure she knew everything she needed about Rhubarb when we dropped him off, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with messages and photos, so we knew he was having a great time and was well looked after. We couldn’t recommend Lizzie highly enough and will definitely be booking with her again!
Absolutely amazing. Lizzie looked after our 7 month lab pointer cross overnight. It’s the first time we have used the Rover app and the first time we have left him overnight. He had an absolute ball and he was so well looked after. Lots of contact and pictures. Would definitely rebook and recommend. Thanks Lizzie lots of love from Otto (and parents).

Schedule
I'm pretty flexible and can offer boarding & day time stays in my flat for both cats and dogs. Happy to pick-up/drop-off in the car depending on location and can offer dog walking too. I often have availability on weekends and evenings, and I'm between West Lothian (where I live) and Edinburgh (for work) and can accommodate sitting in both areas.

I will follow your instruction so please let me know exactly what you'd like for your pet. I'm new to Rover so I don't have equipment (e.g. crate or bed) but can get hold of this if needed - or please bring with you. I have access to communal outdoor space where I would keep dogs on leads for safety, but can let them off lead not far from where I live if they need a run!
