Each pet is unique and has their own preference on how to engage with a caretaker, so I would ask you to tell me what they love and do not prefer. I like to keep pet owners informed the way you like - whether that's with photos/text updates or a written note left at home.

I like to know if your pets are outgoing or shy, if they prefer to be petted or played with. If they have specific things they do not like, I want to know that too. I ask for details about feeding, treats, toys, and behaviors to watch out for. I keep notes so we only need to discuss all of the details at a meet & greet and/or when circumstances change.

Fun activities vary based on what pets want. Cats who wish to play will receive my attention using their favorite toys that you leave out for me.

As a kid, I lived with hamsters, guinea pigs, a cat, and numerous dogs - including an epileptic dog. I have work experience at a veterinary hospital, an animal (cat) rescue organization, and cat sitting in NYC.
