Hello, I am Liz! I grew up in a home with a black lab, later a German wire haired pointer, some cats, and some rodents! I have lived with roommates that have had cats and/or dogs over the last several years, have bonded with them, and cared for them when needed. I am attentive to detail and body language - if your pet looks uncomfortable or scared, I will do my best to accommodate them and make them feel at ease. I have an ability to befriend most pets, but understand some pets may have some trauma and need space (much like humans!). I am patient, understanding, and flexible, which is what animals often need. I am very enthusiastic and try to make every pet feel special, loved, and cared for.

My roommate has a dog that she mainly cares for, but if she needs any help, I let her out for potty breaks and fresh air, play with her, and give her fresh water and food if need. She and I have bonded very well over the years and she howls with joy whenever she sees me come home. As per clients homes, I care for them as the clients need me - I follow their walk and potty schedules, feed them the appropriate amount of food and follow their eating schedule, give them fresh water throughout the day, play with them, and give them pets and snuggles if they feel comfortable with me. If they have sleep or crate schedules, I also follow those procedures to make sure they have stability and rest while their owners are away.

Liz was an incredible help with my cat Monty! Liz bonded with Monty very quickly. Liz also gave detailed updates, was prompt, and took care of everything that I asked. Monty was well cared for and I received several cute pictures each visit so that I could see how he was doing, which was reassuring. I highly recommend and will rebook Liz next time I leave town!

We had a great experience with our pet sitter Liz. She took wonderful care of our dogs. Treated them with kindness, kept them company, and made sure they had playtime and attention while we were away. She also gave Archie his medication as needed and followed instructions carefully. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos while we were away it gave us peace of mind, knowing they were in such good hands. On top of that, she left the house really spotless which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!
Liz is excellent! Even though the pups were anxious about a new person in the house she helped them feel more comfortable by giving them treats and letting them get used to her during their drop in visits. Highly recommend Liz to care for your furry fam!
Liz was incredible as a house and cat sitter while we were on a long trip. We got timely updates with lots of photos. I fully trusted that our cats were happy and well cared for (with consistent med administrations). Would absolutely recommend Liz to anyone looking for a true “pet person” to watch their cats or dogs.

Schedule
I am currently recovering from a back injury, so I am working house/pet sitting gigs for friends to make ends meet. I am currently unemployed, so my schedule for pet care and walks is very open.
