Your Pups' Home Away from Home
Pet care experience
**Please review profile and policies BEFORE requesting/booking a service. Meet & Greets are highly encouraged** **Drop off and Pick Up Windows:** Weekdays: 6-7:30 AM/6-8:30 PM Weekends: 7-10 AM/6-8:30 PM *Please specify a time within that window so I can ensure that your pup(s) are ready for pickup and have already eaten and have recently been out. This is to minimize disruptions to our schedule. I am in very quiet residential area so multiple cars and barking dogs are disrespectful to my neighbors. **Crate trained dogs ONLY. Dogs must be comfortable in a crate BEFORE boarding with me. This is for the safest and best experience for your pet. Dogs are fed meals and sleep in crates at night. If I need to run errands, dogs will be crated while away, no longer than max of a few hours. *Please note - I do *not* provide food for your dog. You will need to supply their breakfast, lunch, dinner (whatever is applicable) and any treats they are used to enjoying. This is to minimize any stomach upset and stress on their system. If you do not bring food with you to drop off, I can pick up some food for them at an additional charge. Meet and Greets are available upon request - and recommended. Please schedule a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your booking so I can be sure to schedule it for you. As a passionate advocate for canine companionship and welfare, my journey in the world of dogs has been both diverse and enriching. Since I was 12 years old, I've immersed myself in the exhilarating world of dog agility dock diving, and countless other dog sports. Alongside this pursuit, I've had the privilege of nurturing guide dog puppies for two distinguished organizations, instilling in me a deep sense of responsibility and empathy towards these remarkable animals. My commitment to canine welfare extends beyond raising guide dog puppies. As a consulting trainer for a service dog organization dedicated to supporting veterans, I've had the honor of contributing to a cause close to my heart, utilizing my expertise to empower both dogs and their human partners. With a wealth of experience under my belt, including managing three different dog boarding kennels and two dog daycares, I possess a comprehensive understanding of canine behavior, needs, and care. My tenure working with high-level working dogs has further honed my skills, allowing me to provide unparalleled care and training to dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. Above all, my passion for working with dogs stems from a genuine love and admiration for these incredible creatures. Whether it's training pet dogs, nurturing guide dog puppies, or competing in agility trials, my dedication to fostering positive relationships between dogs and their human companions remains unwavering. With a blend of experience, expertise, and boundless affection for all breeds, I am committed to providing your furry friends with the exceptional care and attention they deserve.
Reviews
On a scale of 1 to 10, Liz is a 10+ dog boarder/caregiver. It was quite apparent in the photos and videos she sent that my 2 girls felt loved and were very happy. They made new fur friends, having such a fun time playing with Liz's 2 oh so sweet pups. I would highly recommend Liz if you need dog boarding services.
My first Rover experience was with Liz and I can’t say enough good things! I always had my friends watch my dog whenever I’m away for work and when we all had a bachelorette weekend to go to, my co-worker recommended Liz. I was unsure how my boy would react staying in an unfamiliar house but after picking him up and receiving pics over the weekend of him playing it was like he’s been staying at Liz’s is whole life. I also wasn’t sure how he’d be with two unfamiliar dogs but I honestly think he made two new best friends and the way they all played together was a true testament to Liz’s knowledge and care for her pups. It’s such a peace of mind knowing there’s always a reliable place for my boy to go to when I can’t take him with me.
Liz has taken care of my dogs many times. I know my dogs love staying with Liz because they are always wagging their tails as we approach Liz’s front door. They go right up to her to get some loving petting. She lets me know how they are doing during the stay and answers any questions I might have. She is fabulous with dogs and has a tremendous amount of dog knowledge. I highly recommend Liz.
Liz was fantastic watching my pups! She sent updates throughout the day assuring me that my pups were doing fantastic. Her communication and knowledge of dogs is top tier and I can’t recommend her enough!

I have a fully fenced half acre of land which was just installed in fall of 2023. The fence is 4-5 feet tall and is very sturdy. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard, and interactions of free play are always under careful supervision.

Information Liz S. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me what you normally do with your dog and what their schedule looks like. Do they eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and if so, what times? Do they have any allergies? Any medications? What kind of toys are their favorite? Have they boarded anywhere before, and how did the experience go for you and them? Do they have any issues (or have there been any issues in the past) with dogs or people? What kind of food do they eat and how much (please list cups in measuring cups or ounces. I will assume "cups" means measuring cups and feed accordingly - ex: 1 cup will mean 1 cup of kibble using a standard measuring cup).
A typical day
Your pup's day will start between 5-6 am, being let out outside for a potty break in our half acre of fully fenced yard, where, if they are able to play with other dogs, they will run and play for half an hour or so, and then be brought back in to settle while I get ready. They will have access to fresh water, and one of our multitude of soft dog beds and toys, where they can continue playing, or can relax on the couch. They will then get an AM meal (if applicable) in their kennel, where they will relax for another 30 min or so. Any breed of any size can bloat, and this is to prevent any possible issues from arising. Dogs will then be let out throughout the day to play and romp around the yard. Both my husband and I do work full time, however, we have different schedules so dogs will never be crated for more than a few hours. We also have a camera in the dog room that records so they are under 24/7 supervision. Meals are fed between 6-7 pm (unless otherwise requested) and again, there is rest time 30 minutes before, during, and 30 minutes after eating. Last let out is between 9-10, but sometimes as late as 11. We board from inside our house so if your pup needs to go out at all throughout the night that can absolutely be accommodated.
