Hello, I believe all pets are part of our families and that they give us more than we give them. I grew up with many dogs and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for a long time. I currently have two dogs at home, one small and one large. It's the best of both worlds! I love getting to know the many personalities different dogs and animals of all shapes and sizes have. Spending time outside is very important to me so I frequent the many beautiful areas Bend offers with my own pets, and those I care for. Cats were also part of my upbringing so I also thoroughly enjoy spending time playing with them and giving them the level of attention they best respond to. I'm happy to play and interact with cats, or ignore them, depending on what their needs are and what they best respond to. In addition to cats and dogs, I am also comfortable with reptiles! I have a crested gecko and ball python at home. I’m providing affordable prices so that you can avoid kennels and instead receive great pet care at the right price. If you choose me to care for your pet or home expect nothing but the best. I have open availability during the week for walks, daycare and boarding. I'm very flexible, let's see if we are the right fit!

Safety, trust & environment
I go at your animal's pace when establishing a relationship. Some animals feel comfortable and safe right away, and some can take a little bit more time. I like to meet each animal where they are at, and give them however much time they need to feel safe. I love playing with animals and cuddling when we get past introductions and everyone feels comfortable. In addition to our social dynamic, I am courteous and conscious with recreating your pet's daily rituals to the best of my ability so their routine doesn't change. I will do my best to serve up meals on time, give bathroom breaks in a familiar cadence, and get them exercise when they are used to it.

If loving dogs with all your heart is a crime, then Lock Liz up! She has a way of making not just dogs feel comfortable and safe but all creatures. She has been my #1 dog sitter for this past year and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust my little Paco dog to anyone else. We love Liz!

Schedule
I work remotely for a nonprofit, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks as I need throughout the work day. This works perfectly for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the day, but also makes it easy for me to spend ample time with your pet(s) if I'm staying at your home. On weekends I prioritize spending more time outside getting myself and my pets (or yours) some exercise.
