Reliable Pet + House Sitter

Hi! My name is Liz. I recently re-downloaded Rover after being away for a few years, and I’m excited to start pet sitting again through Rover. I’m a college graduate with years of experience caring for pets through my mom’s Rover account, along with ongoing cat sitting jobs and trusted repeat clients. I’m known for being a great communicator, dependable, and attentive to both pets and owners. I offer house sitting, drop-ins, walks, overnight care, and can also help with light household tasks like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, pulling trash cans in or out, and keeping your home tidy while you’re away. I especially love caring for senior pets and pets who do best staying in the comfort of their own home. I understand every animal has different needs, personalities, and routines, and I always try to make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone. For overnight stays, my fiancé may occasionally accompany me for safety and comfort purposes, but your pet’s care and respect for your home always come first. I’m happy to communicate openly beforehand so everyone feels comfortable and confident. Feel free to message me anytime with questions. I respond quickly and would love to see if we’re a good fit for you and your pets!

Drop-In Visits • Jul 26, 2026

Liz is a gem! We would 10/10 recommend her. We were fortunate to find her to care for our two elder cats at a time when they needed extra special attention. One had just started injections, and the other antibiotics. Liz was exceptionally attentive, caring, detail oriented, and meticulous in learning their needs and routine. The cats immediately took a liking to her gentle and positive energy, even in a time of great stress for them - and they were so happy to be near her almost immediately. She provides thoughtful communication and pictures during her visits, and put our anxiety at ease so we could enjoy our time away knowing our fur kids were in such good hands. We are grateful to her for being our sitter and know you will be too.

Liz provided loving care and concern for our kitten. She kept in touch with us daily sending photos and updates. We did not worry one bit. We knew our kitten was very well taken care of.

Liz is a super responsible, kind and caring person who will be a very dependable dog caregiver and walker. She has extensive experience taking care of dogs for the past few years and is really good with animals. I would absolutely trust her with my dog and recommend her without any reservation whatsoever. I have known Liz for 4 years.

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule during the week. Outside of pet sitting, I spend my time applying to jobs in clinical research, running errands, doing chores, and meeting with friends, which gives me plenty of availability and flexibility for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets never feels like a chore to me. I’m very attentive with feeding schedules, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment

At this time, I only offer care in my client’s home because I have an anxious 9-year-old tabby cat at home, and I want to keep his environment calm and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For overnight stays, I usually stay in the guest room or designated area of the home, and many pets enjoy sleeping nearby or spending time with me throughout the day. I’m very respectful of your home and prioritize cleanliness, safety, and communication. I make sure doors are securely locked, pets are supervised carefully, and feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and potty breaks are handled consistently. I also pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and comfort level to help reduce stress and keep them happy during your absence. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy, and loving environment where both you and your pets feel comfortable and cared for.

A typical day

A typical day depends on your pet’s personality, energy level, and routine! I enjoy keeping pets active, entertained, and comfortable while their owners are away. For dogs, this can include walks around the neighborhood or parks, playtime, running, tug-of-war, fetch, cuddle time, and lots of attention throughout the day. If your pet has favorite toys, activities, or routines, I’m happy to incorporate those to help them feel more at home and comfortable. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, enrichment activities, treats, brushing if they enjoy it, and giving them affection while also respecting their space and boundaries. I always try to match each pet’s energy and comfort level — whether they’re highly active and playful or more relaxed and low-key. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, entertained, and well cared for while you’re away.

I would like to know sleeping arrangement. I would like to know the dog needs medication and their food requirements ahead of time. One thing that makes me stand out is that I love keeping pet parents updated while they’re away. If you’d like, I’m happy to send daily photo updates and little “goodnight” messages so you can feel connected to your pet and have peace of mind knowing they’re happy, safe, and cared for ❤️ Looking forward to hearing from you!
