We have a camera in the living room, which we use to keep an eye on our cats from time to time when we are on vacation. The camera is placed on a stand at the corner of the living room directly across the front door, and is visible to anyone entering. Through the camera, we made the following observations on the last day of Liz's visit to our place: 1. Time spent: she checked in at 6:01 PM, but entered through the front door about 5 minutes late. After about 10 minutes, she went outside for 5-7 minutes or so, she finally left at about 6:20 PM, but checked out through Rover at 6:53 PM. In total, she was present for only half of her 30-minute sitting window. 2. Quality of service: she left the litter bag right outside our front door instead of putting it in the bin or taking it out to the dumpster. When we came back, there were a lot of litter granules on the floor near the front door, which suggested that the bag was dropped on the floor and not properly tied. The bag she left outside the front door was unusually light and when we came back the next day, we scooped about 3-4 lbs of litter clumps ourselves. This was enough to convince us that she did a poor job of keeping the litter boxes clean. Her attempts to play with our cats were half-hearted at best, as we saw her looking at her phone for the most part. 3. Lack of honest communication: this is what bothered us the most. On her last visiting day, we texted her to give wet food to our cats. When we asked her if she was able to do so, she said that the cats all loved their wet food. This was not true, as we had already seen though our living room camera that one of our cats never came down from the cat tree. We know that our cats can be moody and we don't expect the sitter to spoon-feed them, but an honest update would be appreciated. The only upside is that she is considerably more affordable compared to other sitters on this platform whom we have hired (and loved). If you are strapped for cash and need someone to do the bare minimum, we would recommend her.

Liz was great! I was on a work trip out of the country for a few weeks and, even with a winter storm going on, she took great care of my cats. Along with this, she was very communicative and always provided me updates and handled other things, like dripping my faucets, very easily. Will definitely be booking cat visits during my next trip.

Liz is consistently reliable and has helped me when unexpected events have occurred. She’s fabulous!

This was one of my first time using Rover and Liz was the perfect sitter for my cats! She took care of everything I asked her to do and was sure to let me know how they were doing for each check in. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a sitter!
