I am self-employed, so my schedule is quite flexible to accommodate your pets usual routines! I will generally be out and about at different times throughout the day, depending on errands and work. I will always keep you posted if I’ll be gone for more than a few hours at a time!

Safety, trust & environment
I follow all instructions given to me on pet/home care. I treat the animals and home as if they were my own. I am a neat & tidy person, generally a homebody in the evenings, and I am a respectful sitter of both my clients and their lovely pets.
Information Liz K. would like to know about your pet
I am interested in knowing about the personalities and quirks of any animals I watch, things to look out for in terms of their health and happiness. What they enjoy and aren’t so fond of. When they feel comfortable or when they might need help with something.
A typical day
I love playing with pets, whether it’s fetch, running around/chasing, or keeping them stimulated with toys. I believe all animals deserve a chance to stay active and mentally and physically engaged. I love to stay active in those ways as well, so it’s a win-win! I think being playful, laughing, and having fun are so important for both human and animal health. I’ll make sure they have the care and sustenance they need, and are overall fulfilled and calm at the end of the day.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a household with many pets of all kinds, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter, worked in a pet store, and even worked with some exotic animals too. I’m comfortable around animals and I work hard to insure they feel safe and active with me. I am able to read a pet’s body language and communicate well both verbally and nonverbally. Every animal is different and has their own unique personality, and it’s a joy and reward to get to know each one. I have a flexible schedule and have experience long term housesitting (up to a month at a time).
Reviews

Liz always does an amazing job with our dog, Sadie, but went above and beyond taking good care of her while Sadie wasn’t feeling well and we were away. She kept us updated frequently, spent extra time keeping a close eye on Sadie, and didn’t baulk at her special diet instructions. We so greatly appreciated knowing she was in good hands!
Liz took care of my 20yo shih tzu and my cat while i was away for 5 days. she did a great job with both of my girls, and i was comfortable and confident that they were in good hands!

Liz did a wonderful job watching our dog Sadie while we were away for the weekend. She communicated often and left our home clean and tidy. It was a huge relief knowing Sadie was in good hands while we were gone and we look forward to having Liz back!

Liz was wonderful! She shared daily photos and updates so I always knew how things were going. She took excellent care of our senior girl—and our home as well. Thank you, Liz!
