Availability

****Summer availability**** I am not available to walk any dogs when it is 75 degrees or hotter outside. It is a huge risk for their health and mine. I take both their health and mine seriously. I recommend another dog walker who is more comfortable walking your fur baby in those temperatures. Drop-in Visits are acceptable as long as they can be in the backyard. I will be updating my availability weekly. 5/31-6/6 Sunday: available as long as the weather is sustainable. Monday: Not Available Tuesday: 7 am- 9:30 am. 1:30 -6 pm, if the temperature is suitable. Wednesday: Not Available Thursday: 7 am- 9:30 am. 1:30 -6 pm, if the temperature is suitable. Friday: 7 am - 12 pm, if the temperature is suitable. Saturday: Not Available Please keep in mind that I am still in college and work. My hours and availability may change weekly based on my personal and other professional obligations.

Safety, trust & environment

I will greet your fur babies with a smile and an embrace, and follow your home instructions for them. I'll make sure to leave your home in good condition and clean up after them if they have any accidents. I observe your fur baby during my time with them to ensure a safe and fun time and to note any signs of abnormality. Their health is essential to me.

Information Liz I. would like to know about your pet

I welcome any additional information that you find helpful for me to know. These are the usual ones I would ask. ~ What are their favorite places to be petted? Any areas to avoid? ~ What behaviors do they usually have when you're away from home? ~ Do they have under-the-weather days, and how do they behave? ~ Are they fully vaccinated? ~ Any important background history they have? (ex, traumatic experiences from younger years) ~ Do they have any disorders to keep an eye on, or need special exercises? ~ What are their favorite treats? ~ Do they have a special diet and food restrictions? ~ Do they dislike anything or anyone? Knowing your fur baby's needs, behaviors, and dislikes helps me better understand where we should go for walks and what our future activities should be.

A typical day

I enjoy getting to know your fur babies so we can develop fun activities that suit their personalities and are weather-appropriate. We'll check out all the new smells around the neighborhood and explore nearby parks. It all depends on how they love to spend their time. I would play with the high-energy fur babies and relax with the calm ones.

Care For Your Four-legged Friends!

Pet care experience

I am Fear Free certified for cats and dogs to ensure that any pet experiences the least stress and anxiety while you're away! I'm a college student at UTSA and am passionate about working with all kinds of pets. One day, I plan to get my veterinary technician license. I started helping my grandparents with their cats, dogs, chickens, and horses at a very young age. Since then, I have assisted in a few feline and canine births. I have also taken care of friends' and family's pets, such as cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, and hedgehogs. In high school, I helped my parents care for and nurse a group of young bull calves until adulthood. I am a Massachusetts veteran and have volunteered at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm. While there, I cared for cats and small animals, including rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, and rats/mice. I recently worked at a horse stable in New Hampshire, where my experience with animals expanded further.
