A good fit are pets that are friendly that love cuddles and walks. Something that tends to not be a good fit are pets that need 24/7 care or have a history of aggression. Ideally, I also prefer to work with animals that can be left alone for 6-8 hours, as I do have employment off of Rover as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I love being around animals and grew up with three dogs, four rabbits, and chickens. I have lived with a chihuahua, golden retriever, german shepard, border collie, and a great dane before, so I am comfortable with any size! However; I do not take dogs who have previously attacked other animals or people. Please note this before booking a request with me. After a few bad experiences, I like to prioritize my safety and that of your pet!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, cuddles on the couch, playing fetch and tug-of-war, and practicing trick training. My favorite moment with your animals is when we are both laughing and having a great time, or snuggling up on the couch. I also love my feline friends! I love playing together with toys, chasing and stalking with the energetic kittens, and cuddling and chilling out with the more mellow friends.

Pet care experience
Hello! This April will mark five years of providing care and love to pets on Rover! Additionally, I also have had several years of experience watching a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, fish, and chickens. I grew up with animals, so having them around is like second nature to me. I am open to any length for sittings, whether you are looking for a quick weekend away or planning for a longer stay of a week or more!

Reviews

Liz is so kind and thoughtful! She provided detailed report cards daily and took great care of our kitties. Appreciated her communication throughout!

Liz did a fantastic job! She was very communicative throughout our trip, sending updates along with videos and photos of how our pet was doing. I would highly recommend her!

Liz was great with Finn. She provided updates throughout her stay and pictures to let us know that he was doing just fine. She asked in-depth questions during the meet and greet to truly provide the best level of care for him. Would recommend a million times over!

Liz was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of our two herding mix dogs (so not the calmest creatures) and was incredibly communicative. We were out of service most of our trip and she was very clear about what the process would be if there was an emergency. At our meet and greet, she was very thorough and had great questions so she had the full picture of their care and wellbeing. I would absolutely recommend Liz and not hesitate to have her watch our pups again!
