A typical day

Each day is centered around providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to the needs of the pets I look after. My routine typically includes feeding, fresh water replenishment, and ensuring pets receive any necessary medications or special dietary requirements. Exercise and enrichment are a key focus, whether it’s a leisurely walk, active playtime, or mental stimulation through training and engagement. Beyond basic care, I prioritize maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, from refreshing bedding to tidying up feeding areas. I also provide companionship and reassurance, ensuring each pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. Communication with pet owners is important to me, so I keep them updated with check-ins, photos, or any necessary observations about their pet’s well-being. Every pet is unique, and I adapt to their individual needs, whether it’s a high-energy pup requiring extra activity or a senior pet needing a calm, gentle approach. My goal is to create a stress-free, positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Pet care experience

I have cared for pets my entire life. Currently I am enrolled in FVTC as an Animal Science Major. I am educated and experienced in taking care of foster animals and bottle fed kittens. I currently housesit for a Homestead that has ducks, chickens, cats, and dogs. I enjoy going for walks and would love to bring a furry friend with me! I also work from home full-time so I’m able to work remotely at any location in the area. As long as there is Internet.

Liz is the best! We have senior dogs that require medication and special attention. She does a wonderful job with them. It is great to have the peace of mind when we are away!

Liz is so good to my pups! She sent daily pics and took them on a fun day trip and even bought a couple toys for them. They love her and so do we!
