Safety, trust & environment

I do not host pets in my own home, but ensure that each pet I care for is treated as if they were my own. I have experience taking care of poison dart frogs, senior dogs, a herd of goats as well as cats. Each an important pet to me!

Information Liz B. would like to know about your pet

I really appreciate it when pet owners are honest about their dog's personalities. For same day bookings, I do need to meet the owner with their dog/cat to ensure the best experience for all of us! It's okay if your dog isn't the most friendly, or doesn't enjoy being pet or talked to - I like knowing those things ahead of time so I can create a safe and positive experience for us both. I am able bodied and comfortable handling dogs of a range of sizes and energy levels.

A typical day

For Drop ins I focus on what care each animal requires, including any meals, medications or exercise. This often includes a short excursion outside or a nice walk if the weather is tolerable!

Pet care experience

I can speak conversationally in ASL, am bilingual in Spanish and a Native English Speaker. Certified in CPR and first aid for Dogs and Cats. I have over ten years of experience in pet care, in the last 5 years I've found a passion in caring for senior pets. I do well with adult and senior pets, and have administered medications, care, bathed regularly and dealt with tricky feeding schedules. I have experience volunteering in animal shelters with senior cats and dogs as well as small farm animal pet care as well such as goats, pigs and sheep. I own multiple reptiles, have three dogs and one senior cat! Approved reptile foster with Herp Habitat, as well as for felines and canines with the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Liz is so sweet & follows directions very well! Our two boys absolutely love her as she goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of while we are out of town. I was so happy Liz was available to watch them as she knows their routine and always willing to help more if needed. Cannot recommend enough!
