🐈“Auntie Liz The Cat Whisperer!”🐾
I’m 39 and I’ve been a professional catsitter for 10 years on CatInAFlat (now part of Rover) since 2016, alongside my day job. As of August 2026 I’ve worked for 96 unique cat owner clients and completed 449 separate bookings merely through this site (god knows how many individual visits in total that would have been, in reality 2,000 - 3,000… that’s before all the private bookings I’ve taken) …you are in safe hands! Many of my clients have been with me through house moves and numerous life events and I like to get to know cats as their regular sitter to make it easier to understand what’s normal for them and what’s not. In the whole 10 years doing this I’ve also never missed a day through illness or other circumstances. If I promise I’m doing something, I do it! I’ve had my own rescue mog Tobias, a tabby, since 2021, he used to live in a hoarding situation with 100 cats. He now lives the life of riley! I also have a stepson Dusty, a long haired giant tuxedo beastie who belongs to my boyfriend! We rescued him from a year in an open shelter! Watching them pair interacting since I moved in is like the movie “Stepbrothers”. This was after a few years of me being in rented flats which didn’t allow pets - hence becoming a catsitter to fill the void. My parents cat Hebe passed away after Christmas age 18. I left her when I moved to Manchester. She was a rescue cat who was a teenage mum and got kicked out of her old house. She was tortoiseshell same as my first cat, Sparkie, who I watched age 6 being born in my friend's wardrobe, ‘sparking’ my lifelong obsession with cats, and we had her til she passed away after a long and happy life. I've also had Moochie, a black and white rescue who we looked after in her twilight years; she had a broken jaw having been hit by a car. She was a sweet old lady and put up with a lot of hassle from child-me including dressing her up in all kinds of garb and putting doll’s glasses on her. (I’d like to say I grew out of this but my cats have a slew of birthday hats, bow ties and novelty harnesses and they accept this like troopers as it means they don’t have to catch their own food) The Cat Distribution System gifted my parents an orphaned 3 week old kitten recently, so I am now Big Sister again, and have recent experience with young kittens.

Assuming you want me to, I will be spamming you with photos and videos every day while you are away for peace of mind. But also, you have the added benefit of me looking after your property, having the lights on in the evening, and opening and closing curtains, so burglars don't think you're away! Plus I can take the bins out, take your parcels in etc. I'm also a dab hand with a houseplant. Anything to make your life easier please just mention. Many of my regular clients I’ve worked with for a few years are like family friends now, and it’s nice to offer that support. If you are going abroad I will happily hold on to your keys until you are back in the UK and drop them off for free, to save you the stress of flight delays. Any issues, and I’ll pop back and feed your cats, and we can worry about payment afterwards.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after our two cats while we were away for 5 days. Liz was incredible from the very first meet & greet. She was so thorough and really took the time to get to know both of the boys, their personalities, their routines and exactly what they needed. While we were away, we got daily updates along with the cutest pictures and videos and it meant we could properly relax knowing they were happy & so well looked after. Liz gave us complete peace of mind from start to finish and it was so lovely knowing our cats were in such caring hands. We couldn’t recommend Liz enough, thank you!! ❤️
I have very awkward cats, and Liz seemed to get along with and make them feel comfortable right away. Sent lots of cute pictures and updates and put our minds at ease that our fur babies were well looked after while we were away. 10/10 would recommend
Liz was absolutely amazing she brought some toys for the cats to play with and put cat tv in for them. Even my shy girl loves Liz! I can’t recommend her enough!

This was my first time having a cat sitter and Liz was absolutely amazing. She is very knowledgeable, really knows how to deal with timid cats and looked after my anxious girl really well while I was on holiday. My calendar and coverage area are always up to date, so if you send me a request I will usually accept! Please read all of my profile first though! 📍My CATchment area: (M1, M2, M3, M4, M7, M8, some M40) * Northern Quarter / Ancoats. * Blackfriars / Trinity / Salford Central / Chapel Street / Spinningfields. * Strangeways / Cheetwood / Cheetham Hill / Higher Broughton / Lower Broughton / Smedley. * Housesitting - a bigger radius, up to Prestwich and down to Hulme. 🙋🏻♀️ I’m 39, I live in Cheetwood (near Strangeways) with my boyfriend and 2 cats, and I have a little e-bike to get around catsitting jobs. In November 2026 I will be going back to college to study for a career change, so I will have more availability to catsit. ‼️ I charge very little to upgrade to a 60-minute visit and prefer these - it will only cost you (including Rover’s fee) an extra £4.60. 🕣 I will always try and accommodate your preferred times for a visit so do tell me what they are, but I plan my catsitting route in a logical way unless they require set times for medication. However I will stick to a similar time each day and will happily stagger the start and end times depending on when you leave and come home from your trip, to minimise the cats’ time spent alone. 💤 House-sitting rate - in response to the ambiguity since Catinaflat merged with Rover (Catinaflat house sitting was based on 8pm - 8am) I have increased my rate to reflect more time expected at your house (note Rover takes 30% of this and the taxman another 20% so it’s not as lucrative as it seems!) You can pick my hours depending on your needs: * 7pm til 9am sleepover, plus a 2-hour afternoon visit. * 8pm til 9am sleepover, plus a 3-hour afternoon visit. * 9pm til 9am sleepover, plus a 4-hour afternoon visit. 🍽️ For 2-visits a day I will arrange it so your visits are at least 8 hours apart between me leaving in the morning and me arriving again in the evening (unless you prefer otherwise) ❤️ Please save me as a Favourite in the app - when I’m getting booked up I usually make my service radius smaller so I may drop out of your search results. However if I’ve ever sat for you before you get 1st dibs on slots! A client is for life not just for Summer! So just send me a message and I’ll accommodate you! 🔓 I also lock in (fix) your rates so even if I raise my prices you will always pay the rates from when you first booked me.
