Time to Paw-ty!
Over the years, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, farm animals, hamsters, geckos & even peacocks! My experience has allowed me to develop a versatile skillset ranging from shy cats, senior dogs, dogs with special needs (Hip Dysplasia, IVDD, blindness, deafness, medication, allergies, anxiety, and more) to even puppies & kittens. I have knowledge of the Pet First Aid and I’m in the process of acquiring the OHS certification. I own two miniature Dachshunds, Alfa & Romeo, and previously a 13yo rescued miniature schnauzer who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge over a year ago. Languages: English/French

I’m a firm believer in positive reinforcement and the need for our animals to be mentally & physically stimulated which impacts how I go about things. I love to get creative with puzzles, games and other ways to stimulate their minds. I also believe our homes are our safe spaces therefore I will imperatively respect all of your wishes/rules when entering your home. I automatically verify water & food bowl levels, dog(s) is/are let outside where we have some playtime. I pick-up/clean up accidents and administer medication (if necessary). Due to the nature of my full-time job, I’m the holder of a particular security clearance which requires an in-depth look into my character, my life, my everyday activities and my social circle.

Liya was amazing with our cats while we were away! She was incredibly flexible, responsive, and kind from start to finish, which made being away from them so much less stressful. It was very clear from her updates that our kitties were comfortable, happy, and genuinely felt safe with her. She took such wonderful photos during her visits, and it was obvious she took the time to make them feel at ease and cared for. She even tidied up a bit around the house, which was so thoughtful and very appreciated.I would definitely recommend Liya to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive cat sitter!

Liya takes wonderful care of my cats when I'm away! She is reliable and a great communicator.
Liya came at the last minute when an unexpected trip to the ER lasted much longer than planned. She fed the cats and even our shy girl came out to see her! It’s clear they love her and she does such a fantastic job with them every time.
Liya took care of my 3 cats while I was away. She left me detailed accounts of her time with them and sent a lot of great pictures of them:) One of my cats is on the shy side and she made sure to give him space so not to stress him out! I will definitely book her again :) Thank you Liya
Liya is a soft and caring human being and very energetic. Dogs are her world! She is very kind and attentive to a dogs needs and she gives them the most love possible. I would totally trust liya with my dog for any amount of time!

Schedule
The days where I’m available, I’m lucky enough to work from home and I have plenty of time in the day to take care of your furry friend. My schedule is flexible but generally my day starts around 6:30am, my lunch time is around the 12pm mark and my work day ends at around 3pm.
