Hi, I’m Liya. I’ve kept pets for years and have handled a lot along the way, from serious medical situations to tricky behavioral issues, so I’m comfortable giving pets careful, sensible care. That care extends beyond my own home. Back in China I did animal rescue work with both cats and dogs, including medical care for cats with special health needs. It taught me to stay patient and watch closely for small changes in a pet’s health. I also have two cats who moved with me from Hong Kong to Sweden. The city noise there left them nervous about the outdoors, and with steady routines and positive reinforcement, I’ve been helping them gain confidence at their own pace. Whether your pet needs someone experienced with medical care, a calm presence to settle their nerves, or just company and playtime, I’m happy to help.

With two cats at home, I can’t host overnight stays. Instead, I provide care in the client’s own home, where pets stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and keep to their usual routine.

This is my younger female cousin. She is extremely caring, patient with small animals, and knowledgeable about them. She has been committed to animal welfare charity work for years. She has adopted two cats herself and financially supports a dog long-term. If you ever need someone to look after your pets when you are busy, you can rest assured entirely by entrusting them to her.
Liya är inte bara en fantastisk person som ni kommer att lära känna utan också en erfaren ägare sedan många år till två adopterade katter som hon tar så fint hand om och som får den vård och kärlek de behöver. Hon är en riktig djurmänniska och har erfarenhet av att vara bl.a hundvakt, söker ni en pålitlig person med ert djur så har ni kommit rätt.
Liya is a great pet carer with long experience in caring for both cats and dogs as well as rescued animals. She's gentle and attentive to their needs and makes sure they feel safe and happy with her. I could not recommend her enough!

Schedule
I’m currently job hunting, so my weekdays are flexible and I have plenty of time for pets. I can offer full weekday support for dog walking and cat visits, fitting naturally around a pet’s own routine rather than being squeezed between other commitments. If you live close to me, within about a 20-minute walk, I’m also happy to help with emergency evening visits when needed. Weekends tend to be busier for me, but you’re welcome to book in advance and I’ll let you know the times that work.

- It helps to know a few things in advance so I can care for your pet the way they’re used to. Their daily routine and feeding times, what they like and dislike, and any fears or triggers. For cats, whether they’re indoor only and how they respond to strangers. For dogs, how they behave on the lead and around other animals or people. And anything about their health, including any medication and how it’s given.
