As someone with a hidden disability, I choose to spend the free time I have helping others care for their pets! I still like to maintain a healthy work/life balance as much as I can. I have two cats of my own that I make sure to take care of alongside my work (with the help of family). I’m great at what I do and I’d like to be in a position where I can relax while helping others the best way I know how; patience and consistency

Safety, trust & environment

I’m a very observational person, especially when it comes to animals. I’m always aware of the ones trying to escape out of the front door, as well as any suspicious noises. Luckily for everyone else, I have cats who like to cause havoc. I’ve been trained by them to make sure no one is doing something that could be harmful to themselves or harmful in general. I have a lot of faith in my ability to catch animals in acts of mischief. I’ve been trained in looking for signs of stress and how to approach/care for a dog that is in distress, as well as the behavioral patterns I’ve learned from personal experience

Information Livvi S. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if they are aggressive with people, and/or other dogs. I don't mind working with dogs that require more attention to detail, I would just like to know beforehand so we can discuss any needed accommodations

A typical day

When it comes to activity: My preferred method of activity for social dogs is the dog park! Nothing is better than letting a dog tire themselves out. Otherwise, for non-social dogs, I enjoy a leisurely walk, especially when the weather is nice. I cannot go on consistent long distance walks. Seconds best location is the back yard! Very convenient location and you don’t have to look nice to be there. Third and final location is inside! I’m a great rough-houser, as well as an active heating unit, so I’m perfect for indoor play or sitting around watching various tv shows Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Depending on their (and your) preference, I would make sure their bed is nice and comfy with blankets or in a crate you provide. I do enjoy having dogs sleep with me on the bed as well! (Granted they are respectful) Time I'll spend with your dog; A great portion of my day! Rover is my current focus so my life settles around who I’m watching at the time. I’m looking into schooling for the future so I will be looking for opportunities to balance both responsibilities

Comfort Is My Specialty

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Olivia. Im 27 years old and my area of expertise is understanding the behavior of pets. Now im using that knowledge for safety and comfort! My pricing tor overnight sittings is based on a 24 hour period. If you are in need of less than 12 hours of care, let me know and we can discuss pricing alternatives. I am always ready and available to care for your babies in your home! Luckily, I'm comfortable staying in peoples homes, as well as being a natural at caring for any type of animal, which comes in handy when that’s what you want to do as a job. I currently have a limited yet growing amount of experience caring for birds and reptiles, but, on the other hand, I have a large amount of experience caring for cats. (even though they are very good at caring for themselves) My experience with dogs has been consistent throughout my profession as well. I’ve administered medicine orally and topically for both cats and dogs on numerous occasions, such as hot spot care and feeding through a syringe. Ive worked full-time at PetSmart as a Professional Dog Bather for 2 and a half years, as well as The Soggy Doggy. I’ve been working professionally with domesticated animals for about 7 years, and it has given me a great amount of experience working with different size, temperaments, and needs in regards to dogs, cats and many unique pets that are out there. Most of my professional work is specific to dogs, but I’ve personally owned cats my entire life and owned rats for a couple years as well. I am experienced in giving medicine, bathing, other smaller grooming services, and even basic training. Over the years I’ve developed strong arms and thighs, which are helpful in an emergency. Due to an automobile accident I cannot offer consistent physical intervention for the higher active dogs but I do my best to be reliable. If you’d like me to work on some basic training, that is a skill I can work with your furry friend with as well! (Ex: Sit, Lay down, Off, Come, Go to bed) I have trained many of my clients’ dogs all of these. I am a strong believer that dogs will do most anything for their favorite treat! I am hoping to work with those who need quality sitting in a comfortable environment. Typically, I handle meetings in the home. Some pets (dogs) are more comfortable meeting outside the home or a nearby locations before moving inside. What is most comfortable for the pet, is most comfortable for me. Introductions are a great idea before leaving a pet. I, personally, prefer to have a compiled list of each pets daily tasks ready for me to reference at any time. Any questions you may still have, I’m always ready to answer and I hope you consider me for your pet caring needs!

Livvi was such a great dog sitter. Our pups loved her. We came home to find everything as it should be. She went the extra mile to come by for a second introduction just a couple of days before we left so that the dogs would be familiar with her. I highly recommend her! You can tell she loves dogs and they love her.

Thank you Livvi for Phil's, and Chase's wonderful experience. Livvi is a experienced and very thoughtful caregiver. Her knowledge, and experience as well as her love of animals shines brightly. I feel very fortunate my pet has a great caregiver. No worries when I was gone. Definitely I will rebook! A thousand thank you's!
