For as long as I can remember, I've always loved and taken care of animals. I was an owner of 2 Maincoon cats and my Golden retriever, Hal, for 13 years and we also had a Boxer for 2 years. Our family now has a new member, a 1 year old hound mix named Lucy. I've almost never found an animal I didn't get along with, because I think there's something to love in absolutely every one of them! I'm very cautious when taking care of my or other people's pets, and I will do anything within my power to prevent any animal from getting hurt or lost. I'd love to meet new pets this summer; my family just got an adorable new puppy, Lucy, and I'm sure she'd love another friend to play with!

Schedule
I'm an upcoming Junior at UMass Amherst taking a gap year! i have a lot of free time and since I'm away from my dogs back at home, I'd love to spend more time with animals in my everyday life and I'm nearly always available. NOTICE: I will be in South Carolina from May until the end of August. I'll still take dogsitting requests in the area at that time, but services in Amherst will resume at the beginning of September.

Our house is very pet friendly with a fenced in backyard that's perfect for a dog to run and play in. Our dogs are very curious and has a tendency to snoop; one of them likes to eat everything on the floor, so we've made sure our house is "puppy friendly" so animals won't be eating anything that could hurt them. My puppies are very energetic and need a lot of attention so I understand the importance of an active lifestyle for a dog. I have no difficulty potentially getting injured for the sake of an animal's safety. I've had experiences in the past where I've had to separate dogs from each other for their own protection, and I can ensure that I'll do everything I can to keep your fur babies happy and healthy!

A typical day
Playing with dogs is so much fun! I have a bunch of dog toys, treats, and outdoor space for your pets, and nearly unlimited time to hang out with them. I've got a huge field in front of my house that my dogs love to run on, and my oldest girl is smart enough to run alongside me even without a leash! I wouldn't take the same risk with your dog though, don't worry?
