I have always had a love for animals and have professional experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently work as a Patient Care Assistant within a veterinary referral practice, where I have specialist training in handling dogs and cats. My experience includes understanding animal behaviour and temperament, infection control, monitoring food and water intake/output, and providing safe, attentive care to animals with a range of individual needs. Before working in veterinary care, I studied Land & Animal Management for a year, achieving a Merit. During my studies, I gained practical experience in animal handling, food preparation, hygiene and general animal welfare. I’m passionate about continuing to use my knowledge and experience to provide every pet with the safe, caring and personalised attention they deserve.

Your pet’s safety, comfort and wellbeing are my priority. I provide my pet-care services exclusively in your pet’s own home, allowing them to stay in familiar surroundings and maintain their normal routine while you’re away. I believe this can help reduce unnecessary stress and make the experience more comfortable for your pet. Before each booking, I take the time to understand your pet’s individual routine, personality, needs and any important information I should be aware of. I’m also happy to keep you updated during your booking with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing how your pet is getting on. Your home and your pet will always be treated with respect, care and consideration.

Hi, I’m Liv! 🐾 I’m a caring, compassionate animal lover and the owner of Curle’s Companions, a small, growing pet-care business. I’ve always loved being around animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. I believe pets are part of the family, and I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable when leaving them in someone else’s care. I’m happiest when I’m around animals and love everything from going on walks and providing companionship to simply sitting with a pet and making sure they feel settled and comfortable. I currently work in veterinary care, so my working hours can vary from week to week. I always check my availability before accepting a booking and will only accept bookings that I can commit to properly. - Please let me know about anything that could affect your pet’s care, safety or comfort before the booking. This includes any medical conditions, medication, allergies, dietary requirements, behavioural needs, fears or sensitivities, how they are around other animals or people, and anything that may cause them stress. It’s also helpful to know their usual routine, including feeding, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and anything they particularly enjoy. Every pet is different, so the more I know about their individual needs and personality, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾💗
