Walks, play sessions, and cuddle time are built into the day, and I keep a close eye to make sure everyone is safe and happy. With my own dog, Barkley, as a friendly companion, visiting pups usually settle in quickly and feel right at home.

It’s important for me to know each pet’s personality, routine, and any special needs ahead of time — including their feeding schedule, favorite activities, energy level, medical conditions, medications, and how they behave around other animals or new people. I also like to know what commands they understand and what comforts them if they get anxious.
A typical day
I love spending time outdoors with pets — taking walks and hikes in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. We’ll play short, engaging games to keep them active and happy, and I’ll include some gentle training sessions to provide intellectual stimulation by practicing familiar commands.
