Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m stopping by your home or taking your dog out for a walk, safety and comfort always come first. I currently offer walking and drop-in visits, with occasional house sitting if its during the day. I’m used to maintaining safe routines and staying attentive in different environments. I follow each pet’s routine and your instructions closely, and I stay present and aware at all times to make sure pets feel secure and cared for. From handling leashes confidently to being mindful of surroundings during walks, I focus on preventing issues before they happen. My goal is to make every visit feel calm, familiar, and safe so both you and your pet can feel at ease!

☐ How your pet feels around new people ☐ Any triggers or fears I should be aware of ☐ Reactivity on walks (dogs, people, noises, etc.) ☐ Food behavior (food aggression, resource guarding, sensitivities) ☐ Toy or treat guarding ☐ Preferred walking style or pace ☐ Feeding routine and how food should be prepared ☐ Medications or supplements and how they’re given ☐ Favorite toys, games, or comfort items ☐ Anything that helps your pet feel safe and relaxed

A typical day

A typical visit is all about meeting each pet where they’re at. For dogs, that often means a fun, sniff-filled walk where they can explore and burn off some energy at their own pace. Depending on their mood and personality, we might play with toys, enjoy some light activity, or simply relax with plenty of affection and calm companionship. My experience working in doggy daycares has taught me how to read different energy levels and adjust accordingly, whether a dog is playful, curious, or more laid-back. Above all, I focus on making sure every pet feels safe, cared for and genuinely loved while they’re with me.

Pet care experience

I have four animals of my own (a dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon) and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I’ve worked at three doggy daycares over the past four years and I’ve been a residential counselor for four years, so I’m very experienced in providing safe, structured, and loving care. My goal is to build a genuine, trusting bond with you and your fur babies that lasts for years to come. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, bearded dragons, snakes, bunnies and senior pets. I’m comfortable walking, feeding, snuggling, playing, and administering medications.

When I think of someone who is truly passionate about animals, I think of Lismary. She has committed much of her life to animal care both personally and professionally. She has worked with countless dogs and cats and is a real pro when it comes to making sure they're happy, healthy and loved. I would trust her with the care of my cat in a heartbeat!
