Before caring for a pet, I think it’s important to know their daily routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs they may have. I like to know things such as feeding schedules, medications, allergies, favorite activities, bathroom routines, and how they typically act around new people or other animals. I also want to know what makes them feel most comfortable so I can help keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible while you’re away!!

A typical day with the pets I watch includes plenty of attention, playtime, and care based on their individual needs and personalities. For dogs, this can include walks, playing outside, fetch, tug of war, or just spending quality time with them and keeping them active and happy. For cats, I love playing with toys, giving them attention and affection if they enjoy it, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed in their environment. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routine with feeding, potty breaks, medication if needed, and lots of love throughout the day. My goal is always to make them feel safe, entertained, and cared for while their owners are away.
