Beginning my Rover journey in May 2026 as a full-time at-home pet caregiver, I have prior experience working alongside service dog trainers during my youth and was drawn to Rover to work with dogs once again due to the emotional fulfillment and reward it gives me. I value the trust placed in me as a caregiver and am committed to ensuring both pets and owners feel at ease throughout their stay. I maintain a high standard of constant supervision while pets are in my care and hosting only one family at a time so each pet receives focused, individualized care in a calm environment. No pet is left unattended. I live in a 620 sq ft apartment where pets have safe, supervised freedom to safely roam multiple rooms of the home. This free movement fosters a comfortable and mentally enriching environment to help pets acclimate and feel at ease during their stay. My caged pets are kept in a separate laundry room area to ensure safety for all animals and to maintain focus on the pet entrusted to me. During each stay, pets are provided with multiple walks, exercise, and enrichment activities tailored to their individual energy levels, temperament, and needs. I also provide regular updates throughout the day so you can stay informed and connected throughout the stay. I gained extensive hands-on experience with dogs while assisting with service dog training in my teens. This included working through AKC Canine Good Citizen test preparation and reinforcing proper public-access behavior for service animal standards. My experience working with service animals strengthened my patience, consistency, and ability to read animal behavior while maintaining a calm, structured approach in different environments.
