Loving and reliable!
I’ve been a loving and devoted dog owner since I was ten. I’ve raised both small and large breed dogs from puppyhood. In addition, I’ve been a foster mom to many dogs of various ages and breeds through Great Dog Rescue. I enjoy getting outdoors, rain or shine, walking and playing with these wonderful animals. My dogs get are doted on with lots of cuddles and attention. I currently have a very friendly Bernese Mountain dog who gets along well with other dogs.

Our dog had a great stay with Lisa! It was so nice to be able to leave him with someone with a lot of dog experience and clearly a lot of love for dogs. Our dog got along great with her dog. We would absolutely have him stay with Lisa again.

Lisa has cared for my two Havanese dogs, Rosie and Coco, on several occasions over the years, sometimes for just a couple of days and other times for a few weeks. Every time, she has been incredibly caring, dependable, and attentive. I always had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Rosie and Coco were happy, well cared for, and genuinely loved while they were with Lisa. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. She's wonderful with dogs, and I know any pet owner would be fortunate to have her care for their pets.
Your dogs would get the best care with Lisa. She is knowledgeable and experienced handling a variety of breeds and truly cares about the animals’ comfort. Lisa fostered puppies and older dogs for several years so she is no stranger to all ages and personalities! Not only does she have a history with short-term care, but there has never been a time when she did not have a dog of her own. Her current pup Remy, is a sweet, playful and well-behaved Bernese mountain dog who would be ecstatic to have some playmates running around. With Lisa as your sitter, you know for sure your pups will be happy and cared for, and likely get a little vacation of their own while you are away!

Schedule
I am available full-time to care for your fur baby. I could offer daily exercise and plenty of individual attention to your pup at my home or yours.

I have a house with a big yard on a quiet cul-de-sac. Either in your home or mine, I would take your dog out on a leash to make sure it stays safe. Having hosted many rescue dogs, I know how to care for nervous animals and they have thrived under my care.

A typical day
I like to take the dogs under my watch for walks in the woods, through fields and on the beach. If the dog is OK off-leash, we play fetch in the backyard. At the owner’s request, I could bring their pup to the dog park.
