My daughter and I love animals. My daughter has dreamed of being a vet since she was 5, she is now 13 and starting to make actual plans for this to be her reality. We have dog sat in our house for friends and even my Pastor. The longest we have had a dog stay with us is 10 days. During our visits we try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I have given food at all times of the day or night and have also given oral medications. My daughter is 13 years old and is very involved with the care of the dogs. She loves to go on walks and take them out for potty breaks. She also loves to play and cuddle. Any dog we watch would have to be good with kids!
