This is all I do, and I love it!
I have owned dogs all of my life and I am very excited to be able to meet and care for others' dogs now. I am also a homemaker, so your pup or kitty will get loads of focused attention and love from me. I have cared for numerous dogs annd cats over the years and they are always excited to hang out with me. I have experience with dogs of various sizes and breeds, as well as experience with all ages of dogs. I've been a Rover sitter for over 11 years and most of my clients are repeat regulars. Any of them are happy to give me a reference. I am happy to drop by and walk and play with your pet, or stay at your home for extended periods if you are traveling. This is also available for cat care. * Please note-I offer doggie daycare, but at your home, rather than mine. This is a good way to break up the weekly routine your dog may have if you work all day. I can come for the day, play with your pup, and let them have a free day where they aren’t alone the whole time.

PLEASE PLEASE READ!!! This will be long but needed to say. Absolutely awful experience. Lisa arrived late, but apologized so we appreciated that - but then from there it was absolutely awful and we asked her to leave the same day. She was caring for Franklin for less than an hour before she unplugged our living room camera. When looking at the footage, she sat down near the cords for close to a WHOLE minute trying to plug in her phone cord. Instead of plugging the camera back into the surge protector (with open spaces by the way), she left it unplugged. By the time we got the notification and saw it, it had been an hour. She said it was an accident and plugged it in BUT pointed it to the ceiling. (We have footage of this all) We have proof that she was okay with us having cameras in our home as well. We provided EXTENSIVE amount of detail for Franklin’s care in a book for her to read. She told us that everything was going smoothly and she took Franklin for a walk. When looking at the cameras, we’d say the walk was approximately less than 10 minutes and when she got back she proceeded to read the book and sit on the couch. She has been with Franklin for less than 30 minutes at this point. Great, we thought. Upon watching it more she gets frustrated with Franklin and yells at him repeatedly. We thought she was going to push him/hurt him. He is only 1 year old and full of energy as he is a border collie and Austrian Sheppard mix. She threatened him she would go into another room, because he wanted to be on top of her and have some attention. He was full of excitement and considering he’s met her once, I would have thought she would be more willing to stimulate/address his needs in that moment. She redirected him to a ball but decided not to continue play as he would not drop it. In her frustrated words, “im not playing this game with you.” We told her that he tugs with anything and everything (when we met her) and it is also stated in his book that it’s his favorite game. Franklin proceeded to run and start barking (we put this all in his book that she read that he may do this), she immediately yells NO instead of any redirection. I was even scared at the response, hearing it. When he came back out she told him it was nonsense to be barking and she said I thought you saw someone and were barking. She said, that’s weird to be barking at nothing. She called him weird for barking. Who does that? She showed NO knowledge of experience in those moments. She showed no patience to him within the hour we got to see her with him on the camera. Franklin’s notes say that he needs to potty every 2-4 hours. She arrived around 6:15a and left at ~ 10:55a for over 7 hours. We texted her around the 6 hour mark as we finally had just gotten to our hotel and could use WiFi to check in on him (we had a camera pointed at his bed as well) and asked what was going on? She said she thought Franklin could be left alone for 8 hours. She didn’t look at his rover profile which STATES 2-4 hours for him to go potty and we aalso did outline a daily schedule for Franklin in the book she read. I’m not even sure she was going to come back until even later if we had not texted her. As soon as she arrived back we told her to pack her things and to leave immediately. We didn’t feel safe with her taking care of him and the person we met in the interview was NOT who showed up to care for him. She was anything but the character she showed us originally. Her true colors showed. We were in a different country for our honeymoon and there was no way for us to get to him in a timely manner. We had to have someone in our family drive 2.5 hours to get to him and make sure he was safe. We wouldn’t ever consider having her near Franklin. She wasn’t patient with him and I truly believe if she had been alone with him longer, she would have hurt him. She also broke a glass in the house and didn’t notify us. She had tried to clean it. But there were pieces of glass spread out in the carpet under the table (Franklin lays there) + in the fridge + other places of the kitchen that were not cleaned. Thank God Franklin didn’t swallow or step on any of it. After all said and done, Lisa isn’t watching Franklin anymore and we are so thankful for that. I still feel sick in my stomach now looking back at her yelling at him because we put him in that situation by hiring her. She was not fit for us and I don’t believe she’s fit to take care of any animal that is high energy.

Lisa is quite literally amazing. She was super transparent about what was going on at our house and with our cats for our trip. We will for sure be a return customer! She loved our cats like her own and the pictures she sent looked like they were so excited to see her! She also was available on Christmas which is incredibly and undeniably appreciated, her availability allowed us to visit family members out of state for the holiday. Thank you so much Lisa! We appreciate you!😊🤍

I am a home-maker with lots of free time. I make my own schedule, so I’m very flexible! If I am stopping by for a drop-in, I usually plan my errands around it.
