Pet care experience

Animals have been some of my best friends throughout my life. I have extensive experience working with cats, dogs, birds, chickens, and people. Professionally, I have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter through out high school and college. In my own life, I have raised and trained 2 puppies, fostered several dogs, rescued and raised 3 orphaned 6 week old kittens, raised 15-20 chicks, raised and trained a green cheek conure, lived with and loved many dogs and cats, and cared for senior pets through medical conditions like diabetes, cancer, and heart failure. I also have extensive experience working in mental health care. I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in clinical psychology and interning as a student therapist for older adults. Additionally, I have worked as a behavioral therapist for children on the autism spectrum, with unhoused individuals, on crisis lines, and child care. My life time of experience working with and caring for others has helped me become a patient, compassionate, and curious person.

Lisa was amazing. She was kind to my pups and super patient with them. One of my dogs is usually very shy and she did great with Lisa. Would highly recommend Lisa to all dog parents.

Again, nothing but good things to say about Lisa! We re-booked her for the Christmas holiday for our kitten and she even helped us out with her ear medications. Very communicative.

Lisa was amazing with Tokyo (and Tokyo is a very picky lady), easy to communicate with and great with shy kitties, I couldn’t recommend her more!
