I’ve had the fun of having had a variety of pets over the years. And lots of interesting experiences with puppy and kitten litters. Playful pets and those who love to run around or just loungers will have plenty of room to do that at my house, inside and out. Whether your pet likes to cuddle or is aloof he/she will receive lots of love and attention. I know leaving a pet for any length of time can be stressful. That’s why I started Caring for pets in my home. The family can know their “Special friend”is well cared for while they are away. Our pets are very special and that is how I treat them. It’s exciting to meet new pets (plus their family) and get to know them. I know I can provide a safe and loving environment for your special friend.

Finding Lisa was a huge blessing! My dog was instantly comfortable with Lisa and her husband and happily went with them. Lisa provided updates and photos throughout the stay and kept to my dog's normal routine. She was very, very happy and relaxed with Lisa and appreciated all the love, cuddles and play time. It made it easier for me to enjoy my vacation time knowing she was well cared for and stress-free. Lisa is the perfect sitter - her kindness and care shines through every interaction. Thank you, Lisa, for the wonderful stay (and the gorgeous apples)!!!! Highly recommend!
I’m so grateful to have found Lisa! I could tell Rory was so relaxed and happy to stay with her. By just the second day he didn’t even look back when I dropped him off. She was flexible and generous about my schedule which was a bit of a moving target. look forward to being able book with Lisa again and I know Rory can’t wait.
Lisa was the best pet sitter!! We left our dog Junie with her while we were at Disneyland and he had a great time! Lisa kept us updated with photos and videos, Junie played outside, relaxed inside, and had his dinner. Junie usually is really picky and doesn’t eat when he’s away from his family but he felt right at home with Lisa! We will 100% book again! Thank you Lisa!
Lisa was absolutely wonderful! Percy stayed with her for 3 days for daycare while we were at Disney. She was extremely flexible and sweet. Extremely caring about him, and he was excited to go back even just the second day. I was nervous that he would be anxious as this would have been his first personal daycare experience by himself. Thankfully, she also only takes one dog at a time so she is able to devote her time and attention fully and made Percy feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. She accomodated special requests without hesitation such as giving him a treat when he eats all of his food, his preferences and habits, etc. She made sure to give him plenty of exercise and he had plenty of space to play. Lastly, she sent photo and video updates throughout the day so we could see he was well taken care of and relaxed. Thank you again, Lisa, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time we come down ☺️
Lisa was an incredible rover sitter! We hired her to look after our dog Charlie during a weekend Disneyland trip. My partner and I were visiting from out of town and she went above and beyond to help us out, even offering to pick up Charlie from where we were staying (which we gladly accepted). She sent out multiple photos and updates throughout the day which reassured us that Charlie was doing alright (and a having a fun and cozy time at her sitter’s place). Thanks again!
Charlie usually gets nervous in new places but he seemed to settle right in with Lisa. I received lots of photos and video updates which was so great. Very good communication.

Schedule
My husband and I are retired. This allows for ample time to get to know and care for your pet. Playing fetch or just relaxing together at your pet’s own pace.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fenced and rather large. Plenty of space to run, roam, sniff around explore. The patio is covered and there are trees to provide plenty of shade.
A typical day
Nice Large yard to roam & play and/or run of the house to lounge as well. For my First time pet sitting your “Special Friend” - and in order to get to know him/her better - I’d like to schedule a meet and greet if possible. I only care for one pet at a time for boarding and Day Care. However, I will care for more than one dog from the same family.
