Pet care experience

Our loving home awaits your dog-friendly dog!

The house is a medium sized SFH with a large fenced in back yard, two small (dog friendly) dogs, and an experienced handler home 24/7 to care for your pet. In addition to a large fenced in yard we provide regular walks. Large dogs and puppies welcome! We are a couple that lives in the basement level of the house (access to the top level, however, we don't use it unless we want to cook dinner), with direct access to the back yard. The other dog stays upstairs and is generally separated from our beagle, however, Charlie is also dog friendly and will play with Lucy when everyone is home. Our home is right along the Paint Branch trail, where we enjoy taking the dogs for walks. The neighborhood is safe, and our next door neighbors are dog lovers as well, and will often come in the back yard just to play with them! Let me know if you have any questions.

Safety, trust & environment

Why I love dog sitting My entire life! I had a Pug for 13 years growing up, and a cat named Kitty with epilepsy. As an adolescent my parents adopted two pit bulls, and I learned a lot going to their training classes and therapy dog trainings. As an adult I have had my beagle for nearly four years, and she is as sweet as can be.

Lis and her boyfriend Alex were wonderful. They looked after my dog Kylor, a siberian husky puppy for two days- and seemed to take care of him like he was their own. They sent me pictures and updates during that time. They even taught Kylor a new trick- rolling over. They are definitely my first choice if I ever have to board Kylor again.

Lisa has known dogs all her life. She is very caring for them and every dog I have seen takes a liking to her right away. There's not another person I would rather leave my dog with other than Lisa. -Alex

About this sitter: Responsible couple living in a large basement of a single family home (separate living quarters from the main house and own entrance directly to fenced in back yard) with a beagle and plenty of space for your dog to roam! One of us is home at all times in the house, so your dog will never be left unsupervised and given our undivided attention. Large dogs welcome.

Lisa can host up to 1 pet per night
No breed preferences, however, Alex (the boyfriend of the couple), can handle large male dogs very well. I'm not as strong when it comes to handling larger dogs, but they seem to bond with him.
