We go out for a walks at least 2 times a day rain or shine, or there’s always a game of fetch to be played in the backyard. We are home on weekends. I am in education, so I am home full-time during school vacations (unless I am traveling), holidays, and summer break. I work 8-3/30 when school is in session. My daughters are home by 230 so they help with care as well. they are 16 and 14.

As mentioned, I have a fenced in yard. Pets are welcomed on our couch and I have extra beds, blankets, and bowls. Certain rooms are closed off to prevent mischief and Garbages are all hidden and secure, in addition to other things that pets might get into that can be harmful. I will follow any instructions you may have such as feeding, medications, etc. When walking, dogs are always leashed. While you’re away, I will frequently update you on your pup on how they’re doing and send photos.

It is impotant for me to know your dog's temperment, any allergies or medical conditions, and feeding schedule. And What commands they respond to. I also really like to know how I can make your pet feel at home. I highly recommend a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure your dog and mine will get along. Also important is if they are potty trained and do they resource guard their food. Potty training and aggression is very important for me to know about.
A typical day

For as long as I can remember, I have always owned a pet. I have extensive personal experience with taking care of dogs big and small, old and young. I have been meeting new pups through Rover for almost 3 years My family and I love dogs and we would like to take care of yours so they feel right at home. We have a nice home in a quiet neigborhood, complete with a fenced in yard. Our dogs Otis and Elsa are friendly with people and other dogs. They actually keep to themselves. Otis is a lab/border collie mix and up to date on all shots, including bordetella. Elsa is a white lab who is very calm and loving. Also up to date on vaccines. We would love to offer up our home and couch for those pups in need of care or boarding for just an over night or extended stay. My daughters are also pet lovers and comfortable around friendly dogs. They are awesome helpers. Pets are like family, and we will care for your furry friend like family. We will provide a comfortable and safe environment for your best friend while you are away in addition to lots of play time and attention. Disclosure: Dogs MUST be potty trained. I am not able to have dogs that mark or frequently use the bathroom indoors. Accidents do happen but that is different from marking and going to the bathroom inside. I do work full time during the week as teacher from 8-330. My daughters who are 14 and 16 are home by 230. And they help with care like bringing them out to the bathroom.

Maddie had a great time. She was tired when I picked her up as she ran around. Lisa is very conscientious and took good care of my dog. I was pleased.
My dog stayed with Lisa for the first time last weekend and had a great time. She was very communicative and took excellent care of my anxious girl.
Misia enjoyed her stay with Lisa. She was clearly well-exercised and got along with her dogs.
Lisa and her family were absolutely fantastic! They pampered my dog Sheila throughout her stay with them. Lisa sent lots of pictures and was very responsive to my texts. I will definitely use her again.
