I work from home as an online instructor and editor, so my schedule is flexible given advanced notice. I'm not available Sundays, and currently Tuesday and Thursday evenings due to other commitments until the end of summer. I prefer afternoons or evenings, as I do work Monday through Saturdays and tend to have tasks before lunch, but I'm flexible after that and I can make adjustments with advanced notice. Spending time with a furry creature after sitting at a desk is a great way to end the day.

I regularly clean my guinea pigs cage, replace water and paper, and feed twice a day. I talk to, pet, and engage with the animals in my care. I get to know their personalities and what works for them. For example, one of my guinea piggies is cuddlier and more social than the other one. I think pet care is specific to the animal or owner, so I'd prefer to find out what's required and follow instructions while being gentle, but assertive with the creatures.

As I said, I think it's important to understand a pet's personality and temperament, as well as specific meal and care needs. When, what, how much to feed or exercise an animal? Do they require medication or special care? Are they on a specific schedule etc? Do they have emergency contacts? Etc
A typical day
I love walking dogs, giving them time to sniff and explore, and engage with other dogs as appropriate. I also love fetch and other engaging activities. For cats, pets or play with toys. It really depends on a pet's personality and how they connect with humans and other creatures.

I have experience with a variety of animals from dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I regularly visit and care for my Uncle's two pomeranian. I've cat sit for friends, and have my own guinea pigs.

Lisa is a kind, caring, and responsible pet sitter and a great communicator. My senior chihuahua bonded with Lisa instantly the first time they met, and she (our pup that is!) can be an aloof senior! We trust Lisa with our senior chihuahua when we travel out of town. Lisa follows our instructions closely, taking care of our pup’s feeding, meds, and walk schedules. I would not hesitate to contact Lisa to look after our little love!
Lisa took care of my dog and cat while we were away for two and half weeks. Excellent communication, shared frequent updates through pictures and videos. She really cares for the animals well being, and she does more than the minimum and gives them lots of affection. She also diligently cleaned up the messes the animals left at home (the cat acted out). Highly recommend.
