Judy had a great time at Lisa’s for 2 nights. Lisa was quick to respond and sent lots of photos of Judy playing with her new friends. I highly recommend a puppy vacation at Lisa’s and won’t hesitate to book again.

Our dogs were well cared for with Lisa. She was good at communication and sending pictures of the dogs. We have three large dogs and they had plenty of room to run around her large yard. The yard and house was very clean and well kept. We would book with her again.

We booked a doggy daycare in preparation for our week long boarding coming up with Lisa, we wanted our dog to familiarize himself with Lisa and her home and without a doubt, she took amazing care of him! I feel so comfortable leaving our dog with Lisa and know he'll have the best time with her! I would recommend Lisa to just about anyone who will listen to me!

Safety, trust & environment

All my guests stay here as members of my family, they get walks, treats, daily enrichment activities, snuggles on the couch or in bed - whatever helps them feel as happy as possible on their holiday! They sleep in the bedroom - on my bed, a dog bed on the floor or in a roomy crate, depending on the particular dog (they are welcome to be uncrated as long as they are well behaved and calm, not starting a late night party!) They are always supervised while outside, and also while together inside. I am home the vast majority of the time, so they are rarely alone without human company! Dogs are never left outside in kennel runs etc, if they are outside, I am outside too! I utilize fear-free techniques to minimize stress and maximize relaxation for all my guests, including cooperative care handling, considerate touch techniques, Adaptil diffusers (safe natural calming pheromones) in my home, and lots of environmental enrichment. I like to maintain a very clean environment. All food dishes are sanitized after each meal, water bowls are sanitized and refilled with reverse-osmosis filtered chlorine free water multiple times a day. Floors are swept and mopped multiple times a day, and area rugs and dog bedding laundered frequently as needed. I believe in a fun and positive reward-based environment. I can happily accommodate raw diets, intact dogs, and dogs on limited vaccine protocols or titre testing. I can also accommodate multi-dog families, even if you have a "pack". All dogs are always separated for feeding times or any time I need to leave the house, all dog to dog interactions are only under close supervision for safety reasons. I am home majority of the time with them! But dogs MUST be kennel trained so they are comfortable with these short periods of secure confinement. I am not able to accommodate dogs that are excessively noisy, can not be confined without distress, have any aggression to people or have severe aggression towards other animals

Information Lisa P. would like to know about your pet

Please make sure you inform me of any allergies, food intolerances, or any health issues so I can be watchful! Please bring your dog's food and written feeding instructions. No need to bring toys, we have tons of all types. To minimize resource guarding, any owner-provided toys will only be given during periods your dog is separated from all other dogs - dogs are much more likely to fight over their own toys compared to neutral items! Beds, crates etc may be brought if desired but not required. As this is an environment with multiple dogs, there is a risk items could get lost, damaged or destroyed, although I do my best to send things home as they arrived, please don't send things you won't risk damage to!

A typical day

I can take dogs of varying sizes and energy level. We are outside multiple times a day for individual walks through the fields (50 or 100 foot long line or offleash, depending on the dog's temperament and training) and lots of supervised play time in the huge fenced yard. (If your dog is an escape artist type or jumps 4 foot fences, make sure to let me know please so I can take extra precautions!) We also have lots of indoor play and enrichment activities.
